• Maintain Character Agency: AI dungeon masters must understand the need to offer only the information that the character should know. The language model will begin role-playing as your player character, and decide what actions to take on your character’s behalf. It is important that it refrains from this.

• Tell it to Take Initiative: To be a proper dungeon master, the system will have to take the initiative to move the plot along with action, conflict and making decisions to have actions.
