I wanted to try creating a short story using the Talk to Transformer AI platform, and what better setting than the Mario Universe. It was a lot of fun watching the AI and I going back and forth with the content. I wrote the following starting text, and I really like where it ended up going:

Luigi entered the mansion in search of his brother

Seeing that Mario wanted to blame himself for his brother’s disappearance, he left and started to search for him. Luigi tried to save Mario but Mario chased after him and revealed that they were sisters. They were unable to stop each other and began to argue. Their argument continued for a while until Mario stabbed Luigi in the chest and knocked him out. Luigi was then questioned by police about Mario and he eventually admitted that he killed Mario to save his brother.

Rival to none but himself he was never truly safe from his doppelganger even in the presence of the police, he kept his eyes open for any sign of what he knows now… was his fake brother.

He looked just like him, but I know that my Brother Mario would never do such a thing. Maybe this was a trick from the Boos in the mansion Luigi thought to himself as the officer gave a strange look in Luigi’s direction.

So there are two of this Mario?' the officer said dismissively Luigi Nodded and looked at his chest again

'Your wounds will be okay Luigi, but I expect you to stay away from this Mario character. People change Luigi and your brother has fallen to a dark path'

Luigi and Luigi are fighting now, after killing the evil that King Koopa had brought upon the land in the past months.

'No, this is all in my head!' shouted Luigi, his tears stinging his dry eyes in the pale night.

'All of the color is gone and I can't remember the last time I actually saw my brother' he mumbled softly

As he looked up his face now dripping with tears he noticed that the officer had left. As he stumbled to his feet he placed his HAND on his chest anticipating the incoming pain from his injury, however, he felt nothing. His wounds were gone, his hands were clean.

Luigi fought with old thoughts that had not entered his mind in some time.

Mario is dead… he died in that mansion ten years ago.
