Step 1: Joining the BlueWillow AI Discord Server
To begin, you'll need to join the BlueWillow AI Discord server.
This is where all the art generation happens. Head to the BlueWillow AI Website (BlueWillow.ai) and click on the 'Join the Free Beta' button. This will redirect you to a Discord invitation link. Simply accept the invite to join the server.
Discord is a free platform designed for community interaction, which provides a place for BlueWillow AI users to connect, share their artwork, and get help. This integration makes the entire process much easier for newcomers, because most people familiar with computers know how to use Discord. Without Discord, the AI might be harder to use and less easily accessible.
Step 2: Navigating to a 'Rookie' Channel
Once you're in the BlueWillow AI Discord server, you'll see a list of channels on the left-HAND side. Look for channels named 'rookie-#'. These are the channels where you can submit your prompts and generate art. These channels are designed for new users to experiment and familiarize themselves with the platform.
Please note: It's important to be aware that these channels are public, and other users will be able to see your prompts and the resulting artwork. That said, it is the place to get started, and get started you must! Don't be afraid to ask questions.
Step 3: Crafting Your First Prompt
Now comes the fun part! In a 'rookie' Channel, type '/imagine' followed by a descriptive text prompt. This is how you tell the AI what you want to create. Be as specific as possible to get the best results. For example, instead of typing 'cat', try 'a fluffy Persian cat sitting on a windowsill, bathed in golden sunlight, photorealistic'.
Here are some tips for writing effective prompts:
- Use descriptive language: Include details about the subject, setting, style, and mood.
- Experiment with keywords: Try different combinations of keywords to see what results they produce.
- Specify artistic styles: Mention artists, art movements, or techniques to influence the visual style of the generated art (e.g., 'Van Gogh', 'Impressionism', 'watercolor').
- Include technical details: Add specifications like '4K', 'photorealistic', or 'high-resolution' to improve the image quality.
Remember to hit enter to send the command.
Step 4: Refining and Upscaling Your Art
Once you submit your prompt, BlueWillow AI will generate four variations of your image. Below these variations, you'll see a set of buttons labeled 'U1', 'U2', 'U3', 'U4', 'V1', 'V2', 'V3', and 'V4'.
-
U Buttons (Upscale): These buttons upscale the corresponding image. For example, clicking 'U1' will upscale the first image, resulting in a higher-resolution version.
-
V Buttons (Variations): These buttons generate new variations based on the selected image. Clicking 'V2' will create four new images that are similar in style and composition to the Second image.
Experiment with these buttons to refine your artwork and get closer to your desired outcome. You can upscale multiple images and generate variations until you're satisfied with the results.
Step 5: Downloading and Using Your AI Art
Once you've upscaled an image, you can download it to your computer. Simply click on the image to open it in a larger view, then right-click and select 'Save Image As'. You can then use your AI art for personal projects, social media, or any other purpose you see fit.
Keep in mind that BlueWillow AI is still in beta, and the generated images may not always be perfect. However, with a little experimentation and creativity, you can create some truly stunning AI artwork.
