Step 1: Accessing Fish Audio
To begin, you will need to access the Fish Audio platform. Open your web browser (Google Chrome is recommended) and navigate to Fish Audio at
. The website provides a user-friendly interface with various options for voice cloning and text-to-speech generation.
Step 2: Creating an Account
To fully utilize Fish Audio’s features, you’ll need to create an account.
You can easily sign up using your Google account. Look for the sign-in button and follow the prompts to link your Google account to Fish Audio. This provides seamless access to all the platform’s tools and capabilities.
Step 3: Navigating to Voice Cloning
Once you are logged in, navigate to the voice cloning section. This is typically found under the 'Voice Cloning' tab.
Here, you will find options to create custom voices and manage your voice library.
Step 4: Building a New Voice Model
To clone your voice, click on the 'Build New Voice' button.
This will take you to a page where you can input the necessary details and audio samples to create your voice model.
Fill in the following details:
- Voice Detail: Select 'Public' for the type of voice model to keep it free. Using other types will require subscription.
- Cover Image (Optional): Upload an image less than 1MB.
- Name: Enter the voice name.
- Description (Optional): Provide a brief description.
- Tags: Add Relevant tags for your voice model.
Add your recorded voice in the area called “input audio” as an upload. It is recommended to use .mp3 format
Step 5: Uploading Audio Samples
This is a critical step in the voice cloning process.
You'll need to upload audio samples of your voice. The recommended duration for these samples is around 30 seconds, but they should be no shorter than 10 seconds and no longer than 90 seconds. Ensure the audio quality is good for the best results. Upload the file and drag the pointer to the “good” area to improve quality.
Step 6: Create Your Voice Clone
After uploading the audio samples and filling in the details, click the 'Create' button.
Fish Audio will then process the audio and create your voice clone. This may take a few minutes, so be patient.
Step 7: Testing Your Voice Clone
Once the voice clone is created, you can test it by navigating to the 'text to speech' section
. Here, you can type in any text, select your newly cloned voice, and generate audio. The AI will use your voice to read the text, allowing you to evaluate the accuracy and quality of the clone. There should be around 500 text or script characters to be generated.
Step 8: Generating Audio
Add the script on the space provided on the page. Choose the model of the clone you just created and press generate. It can be downloaded in a lot of formats to your device or cloud storage.
