Step 1: Sign Up for Agentive
Start by signing up for a free Agentive account. Visit the Agentive website and register using your Google or Facebook account. The registration process is quick and straightforward, granting you immediate access to the platform's features. Once you've signed up, you'll be guided through the initial setup, including connecting your OpenAI API key.
Step 2: Obtain Your OpenAI API Key
To connect your custom GPTs to Agentive, you'll need an OpenAI API key. This key allows Agentive to interact with OpenAI's platform and access the necessary AI models. To obtain your API key, visit the OpenAI website and create a new project. Navigate to the API keys section and generate a new secret key. Remember to add a payment method to your OpenAI account to ensure uninterrupted usage.
Step 3: Create a New Agent in Agentive
In Agentive, create a new agent by clicking the 'Create New Agent' button. Provide a name and description for your agent, and select the OpenAI API Key you obtained in Step 2. Choose the appropriate agent model, such as GPT 4.0 Mini, and click 'Create Agent.' This will take you to the studio page, where you can configure your agent's behavior and knowledge base.
Step 4: Configure Your Agent
On the Studio page, you can configure your agent's prompt, knowledge base, and tools. For customer support agents, provide a detailed prompt explaining how to use the knowledge base. Enable the Knowledge Base and upload Relevant documents, such as FAQs. You can also add tools like order tracking numbers to enhance your agent's capabilities. Utilize the AI Agent Perfect Prompt Writer to optimize your prompts and ensure optimal performance.
Step 5: Deploy Your Agent to WhatsApp
Once you're satisfied with your agent's configuration, click the 'Deploy' tab and select 'WhatsApp.' Connect your Agentive account to your WhatsApp Business account by logging in with Facebook. Follow the on-screen instructions to link your business portfolio and WhatsApp Business account. After successful verification, your agent will be connected to your WhatsApp number and ready to interact with customers.
Step 6: Test and Refine Your Agent
You can test your Agent using the testing tool in Agentive. This will allow you to test before going live. Remember to continue to provide better training for the agent to allow for better responses.
