Step 1: Sign Up and Access the Dashboard
First, go to Gamma.app. Register for an account. Once you have logged in, the dashboard will appear
. The dashboard serves as your hub for managing and creating presentations. It displays previous presentations, as well as options to start new projects.
Step 2: Initiate a New Presentation
Click the 'Create New' button. This will take you to a screen with choices such as 'Paste in text', 'Generate', and 'Import file or URL'
. Each option caters to different content input preferences.
Step 3: Input Content
Here’s where you get to add your content. You can:
- Paste text directly into the editor

- Use a one-line prompt to generate content with AI.
- Import a file or URL, such as a document or a webpage .
The method you select is determined by your pre-existing resources and personal preferences.
Step 4: Choose a Presentation Style
You can now choose between presentation, webpage, document, or social media formats. Click ‘Continue’ after selecting a presentation style
. Gamma.app uses the text that you have provided, to generate a presentation based on your needs. It's also possible to select a 16:9 format that will provide a more traditional layout.
Step 5: Customize Settings
Adjust settings. Select card-by-card for tailored adjustments and press ‘Continue’ . You can customize aspects such as the language, tone, and amount of text per card.
Step 6: Select a Theme and Generate
You can select a theme. This allows you to experiment with different themes until you find the right look. Press Generate once you have selected a theme
. Gamma.app will then automatically generate a presentation in moments.
Step 7: Review and Edit the Presentation
Take the time to review each slide, and make any edits as you feel are necessary. You can change the text, images, and interactions.
