Step 1: Navigate to Monday CRM and Access an Item
First, log in to your Monday CRM account and select an item on your board with an email column.
In this video, I'm going to show you guys how to automatically summarize your emails and activities in Monday CRM using the AI summary feature.
Step 2: Access the 'Emails & Activities' Section
Open your item and ensure you are in the overview section which will include emails and activities.
You can click on open to open the item and in Monday CRM, there'll be a default first item view called overview and that will contain amongst other things emails and activities.
Step 3: Log Activities
This demo is on a demo board and there is no email and activity in this section. In order to use the AI Summary feature, you will need at least four activities. An error may occur if this requirement is not met.
Now, this is just a demo board and there is no activity in the emails and activities section and you can see that the AI summary button is grade out. That's because we don't have any activities to summarize yet.
Step 4: Send an Email
Send a test email to that contact from the Monday CRM app to the related contact. This will give the AI something to analyze for the feature summary.
So what we're going to do is we are going to send an email right from Monday.
Step 5: Use Test Data
To ensure data can be analyzed, get copy and paste data from the internet to use for your demo. Use test data to test out the program. This ensures accurate summarization.
I'm just going to Google great story, 50 feel good stories. Okay, so let's see if we can get a story that we can just copy and paste
Step 6: Add a Meeting and Call Summary
Create activities for the AI to analyze for the program to work. To successfully use the program you will need a meeting note, email, and a call summary. The system will provide you with an error message, if this does not happen.
Then what we'll do is we'll log a meeting and then we will add a call summary.
Step 7: Use the AI Summary Button
Following all steps, and ensuring activities have been tracked will ensure the use of the AI Summary Button. The activities, meeting summary, email summaries will be provided. Then that's your message, you're actually an email and notification so it does count as an email so you can get four activities.
