Step 1: Launch ON1 NoNoise AI
Launch ON1 NoNoise AI as a standalone application or as a plugin from within your chosen photo editing software. The standalone version provides a clutter-free workspace focused specifically on noise reduction.
Step 2: Open Your Photo
In the standalone application, you will be prompted to open an image. Locate the photo you want to denoise and open it within ON1 NoNoise AI. Ensure that the photo is in a supported format, such as RAW, JPEG, TIFF, or PNG.
Step 3: Adjust Noise Reduction
Once the photo is loaded, ON1 NoNoise AI automatically applies a default amount of noise reduction. You can adjust the settings manually for optimal results.The key sliders to adjust include:
- Luminance: Smooths out grain or luminance noise.
- Enhance Detail: Brings back any detail that might have been lost during luminance noise reduction.
- Color: Targets color noise and blotchiness.
Step 4: Refine and Retouch
Use the retouching tools to remove any blemishes or distracting elements from the image. Apply masking to target areas where you want to fine-tune the noise reduction.
Step 5: Save or Export Your Image
Once you are satisfied with the noise reduction, save the image. You can save it in a variety of formats, including DNG for RAW processing.
