Creating Your Interworky Account
The first step is to sign up for a free trial on Interworky.com.
This involves providing your full name, phone number, and email address. Once you've filled in these details, you'll be prompted to enter your website URL. This URL is crucial because Interworky uses it to create the Knowledge Base for your AI Chatbot.
For this Tutorial, let's assume we're integrating a chatbot for a dental clinic based in Austin, Walden Dental (waldendentaltx.com). This clinic has an extensive website with a wealth of information that we can use to train the AI chatbot. After entering the website URL and submitting the form, you'll receive an email to activate your Interworky account. Activating your account will redirect you to create a new password. Once the password is set you can begin customizing your AI chatbot.
Configuring Your AI Chatbot
Once your account is activated, you'll be guided through a series of steps to customize your AI chatbot.
This includes setting a profile picture, giving your chatbot a name, and defining its personality. While these customizations are optional, they can significantly enhance the user experience.
The key step is to initiate the website sync. Interworky will then crawl your website and ingest the content to train the AI chatbot. This process typically takes a few minutes. During this time, you can configure additional settings, such as requiring contact information before a chat begins and enabling appointment mode to capture appointment requests.
Customization options include:
- Chatbot Profile Picture: Upload or select an image to represent your AI chatbot.
- Chatbot Name: Give your AI chatbot a unique and Memorable name.
- Personality: Define the tone and style of your chatbot, such as 'Welcoming,' 'Funny', or 'Efficient.'
Important Note: The efficiency and effectiveness of your AI chatbot heavily depend on the training data. The more comprehensive and Relevant the content on your website, the better the chatbot will be at answering questions and providing support.
