Overview

Maintaining a consistent presence on LinkedIn can be challenging, often requiring switching between multiple apps for idea generation, drafting, revision, and posting. This sophisticated n8n workflow transforms your Telegram bot into a personal AI content assistant. It solves the content bottleneck by allowing users to input ideas instantly—via text or voice note—and leveraging a GPT-4 agent for content drafting and revision control.

The core value lies in its iterative approval loop: the AI drafts the content, accepts feedback (e.g., 'make it shorter' or 'change the tone'), and only proceeds to the publishing step when an explicit approval command is given. This ensures human oversight before automatic posting via the Blotato n8n node, making this one of the most practical n8n templates for social media management.

How it Works

This comprehensive n8n workflow operates through four main stages, starting with a crucial n8n trigger.

  1. Input Capture & Transcription: The process starts with the Start: Telegram Message n8n trigger. The Check: ist it a Voice? conditional node determines if the input is a text message or a voice note. If it's a voice note, the Get Voice File n8n node fetches the audio, and the Speech to Text n8n node (leveraging OpenAI's Whisper via LangChain) transcribes it into text, preparing it for the AI.

  2. AI Drafting and Iteration: The input text is fed into the AI: Draft & Revise Post n8n node (a LangChain Agent). This agent, paired with the Window Buffer Memory n8n node, maintains the conversational context, allowing the user to request multiple revisions. The OpenAI Chat Model n8n node uses a robust model (like GPT-4-mini) to follow a detailed system prompt for creating LinkedIn-optimized posts.

  3. Approval Logic & Publishing: The AI: Draft & Revise Post returns either a draft (for more revisions) or a strict JSON object upon receiving an approval word ('ok', 'approved'). The Check if Approved conditional node analyzes the AI output. If it's a draft, the content is sent back to the user via the Post Suggestion Or Ask For Approval Telegram n8n node. If it's the final JSON, the Approval: Extract Final Post Text Code n8n node extracts the content and passes it to the Create post with Blotato n8n node for immediate LinkedIn publication.

  4. Status Monitoring & Confirmation: Since publishing can take a few moments, the n8n workflow includes a robust status check. After a 5-second wait (Give Blotat 5s :)), the Check post status Blotato n8n node polls the API. The Published? and In Progress? conditional n8n nodes ensure that if the post is published, a confirmation message with the live link is sent via Telegram. If the status is still 'in-progress', the n8n workflow waits another 5 seconds before rechecking.

Installation Guide

To deploy this powerful n8n workflow, follow these setup steps:

  1. Import the n8n Workflow: Copy the provided JSON data and import it into your n8n instance using the 'New' > 'Import from JSON' option.

  2. Telegram Credentials: You need a Telegram Bot API token. Create a credential for the Telegram n8n node and update the configuration in the Start: Telegram Message n8n trigger and all subsequent Telegram notification nodes.

  3. OpenAI Credentials: Set up credentials for the OpenAI API key. This key is used for both the Speech to Text (Whisper model) and the OpenAI Chat Model (GPT) nodes. Ensure the credentials are linked correctly to the respective LangChain n8n node configurations.

  4. Blotato Credentials: This n8n workflow relies on Blotato for secure LinkedIn publishing. Create an account, connect your LinkedIn profile, and obtain your Blotato API credentials. Link these credentials to the Blotato n8n nodes (Create post with Blotato and Check post status).

  5. Activate the Workflow: After configuring all credentials, activate the n8n workflow to enable the Telegram webhook listener.

Node Details

This n8n workflow utilizes several advanced and specialized nodes:

Start: Telegram Message (n8n Trigger): This serves as the primary n8n trigger, activating the automation upon receiving messages (text or voice) in your linked Telegram bot.
Speech to Text (OpenAI n8n node - LangChain): Uses the OpenAI Whisper model to accurately transcribe voice notes received from Telegram, enabling voice input for content generation.
AI: Draft & Revise Post (LangChain Agent n8n node): The core intelligence node. It uses system prompts to guide GPT-4 to act as a specialized LinkedIn content creator, managing the conversational flow and adhering to the strict JSON output requirement upon final approval.
Window Buffer Memory (LangChain Memory n8n node): Crucial for maintaining context across multiple messages. It uses the Telegram user ID as the session key, allowing for iterative feedback and revisions within the same thread.
Check if Approved (IF n8n node): This conditional n8n node determines the flow path by checking if the AI's output contains the approval JSON structure, signaling that the post is ready to be published.
Approval: Extract Final Post Text (Code n8n node): Executes custom JavaScript to robustly parse the final JSON output from the AI, extracting the clean post text ready for LinkedIn.
Create post with Blotato (Blotato n8n node): Handles the actual publication process, connecting to LinkedIn to post the content retrieved from the previous step.
Check post status / In Progress? (Blotato & IF n8n nodes): A pair of nodes that implement polling logic. They query the Blotato API status after publication and implement a 5-second wait loop to confirm the post is live before notifying the user.
