It operates in two connected stages. First, using a Google Sheets n8n trigger, it identifies new customers registered in a sheet and automatically emails them a link to a custom n8n form. Second, when the customer submits the feedback, the Form Trigger n8n node captures the data and instantly logs it into a dedicated feedback spreadsheet using the Google Sheets n8n node. This ensures timely outreach and organized, accurate data recording, making this one of the most useful n8n templates for operational efficiency.

This n8n workflow utilizes two parallel triggering mechanisms to manage the feedback lifecycle.

Path 1: Soliciting Feedback (New User Entry)

1. Trigger: The Trigger - New User Entry n8n trigger monitors a specified Google Sheet for new rows (indicating a new customer registration).


2. Delay: The Delay - Process Buffer n8n node pauses the flow for 7 units (e.g., seconds) to ensure the sheet data is stable before proceeding.


3. Action: The Send Email To That New User n8n node sends a customized email, using the customer's email address retrieved from the trigger data ({{ $json.Email }}), containing the direct link to the custom trip feedback form hosted by n8n.

Path 2: Processing Feedback (Form Submission)

1. Trigger: The Trigger - Trip Form Submission n8n trigger activates immediately when a customer submits the custom n8n form at the /trip-feedback path.


2. Processing: The Tack All Feedback Item n8n node (Split In Batches) ensures that each submission item, even if received in a burst, is processed individually.


3. Action: The Update - Trip Feedback Sheet Google Sheets n8n node automatically performs an 'append or update' operation, securely writing all the collected trip feedback data (ratings, comments, contact info) back into the designated master Google Sheet. This makes the n8n workflow extremely reliable for data logging.
