  • Marketing professionals looking to deploy scheduled or on-demand cross-posting campaigns.

  • Users interested in leveraging advanced browser automation within their n8n templates.

  • Developers needing a stable, reliable n8n workflow for simulating complex web interactions (like posting).

  • Anyone looking for a flexible n8n solution using Telegram as a remote command center.

Overview

This is a powerful and specialized n8n workflow designed to streamline social media outreach by automating the tedious process of posting the same content across numerous Facebook groups. The automation begins instantly upon receiving a specific command or message via the Telegram n8n trigger. This highly efficient n8n setup uses Google Sheets to maintain a dynamic list of target Facebook Group URLs, ensuring centralized management of your campaign destinations. By utilizing advanced browser automation techniques (via the Airtop n8n node), the system simulates a human user—loading pages, scrolling, clicking, and typing the message—guaranteeing compatibility with complex modern web interfaces. This specific n8n workflow dramatically reduces manual intervention, offering a robust solution for scalable content distribution campaigns.

How it Works

  1. Trigger: The n8n workflow is activated by a new message received via the Telegram n8n trigger.

  2. Data Preparation: Initial nodes (Global data, Set message and chatId, Edit Fields1) process the incoming Telegram message, extracting the content and confirming the target chat ID. The system determines the necessary content fields.

  3. Group List Retrieval: The workflow queries Google Sheets using the Get Group List n8n node to fetch a dynamically updated list of all Facebook Group URLs where the message must be posted.

  4. Iteration Setup: The Loop Over Items n8n node splits the retrieved group list into individual batches, ensuring the browser automation operates on one group at a time.

  5. Browser Session Start: The n8n workflow initiates a headless browser session (Start Browser, Create a window) using the Airtop n8n node.

  6. Group Posting Cycle: For each group in the batch:

The browser navigates to the group URL (Load a page).
It executes a series of UI interactions (Scroll on page, Click an element) to find and open the 'create post' modal.
The message content received from the initial Telegram n8n trigger is injected into the text field (Type text).
A final click action publishes the post (Click an element1).

  1. Synchronization and Cleanup: Various Wait n8n node steps are used to ensure the browser successfully renders and processes the actions. Finally, the browser session is securely terminated (Terminate a session).

Installation Guide

  1. Import the n8n template: Copy the provided JSON code and paste it into your n8n instance using the 'New' -> 'Import from JSON' function.

  2. Configure Credentials:

Telegram Trigger: You must set up a Telegram API credential, linking the n8n trigger to your bot to listen for messages.
Google Sheets: Provide credentials for Google Sheets to allow the 'Get Group List' n8n node to read your spreadsheet containing the Facebook Group URLs.
* Browser Automation (Airtop): This n8n workflow uses specific browser automation nodes (AirTop). You must configure the necessary service credentials (often an external key or endpoint) required by these n8n node types to manage the browser sessions.

  1. Customize Data Flow: Update the Get Group List n8n node parameters to point to the exact spreadsheet ID and sheet name containing your group data (ensure group URLs are in a dedicated column).

  2. Activate: Save and activate the n8n workflow. It will now listen for incoming messages on your configured Telegram bot.

Node Details

Telegram Trigger (Trigger): The primary n8n trigger for the entire automation. It starts the n8n workflow upon receiving a message, typically used here for the user to submit the content they wish to cross-post.
Google Sheets (Get Group List): This n8n node is configured to read rows from a specified spreadsheet. Function: Retrieves the list of target Facebook group URLs.
Set Nodes (Global data, Set message and chatId, Edit Fields1): Crucial n8n node types used for data manipulation. Function: They structure and clean the input data from the Telegram n8n trigger and prepare variables (like the message body and group URL) for use in the browser automation steps.
Split In Batches (Loop Over Items): Function: Manages the iteration process, ensuring the browser automation runs sequentially for every group retrieved from Google Sheets.
Airtop Nodes (Start Browser, Create a window, Load a page, Type text, Click an element, Terminate a session): These specialized n8n node functions manage the external browser automation service. Function: They handle everything from launching the browser session and navigating to the Facebook group, to simulating mouse clicks on the posting field, inputting the text, and clicking the final 'Post' button. This is the core action sequence of the n8n workflow.
Wait Nodes (Wait, Wait1, etc.): Simple but critical n8n node components. Function: Used to introduce necessary delays, allowing the web page to load fully or critical elements to become visible before the next browser automation action executes.
