Overview

Managing social media across multiple channels like Telegram and Facebook can be time-consuming. Manually copying and pasting content leads to delays and potential errors. This specialized n8n workflow solves this by providing a reliable, automated bridge using Airtop browser automation.

When a new message is detected by the n8n trigger, the workflow initiates a headless browser session, logs into Facebook, navigates to the composer, pastes the content, and publishes the post. Because this n8n automation utilizes Airtop, it can handle complex, dynamic website interactions that standard API integrations might not support. This robust solution is perfect for increasing content velocity and maintaining high engagement across both platforms.

How it Works

This automation is initiated by a real-time n8n trigger and proceeds through a sequence of steps involving sophisticated browser interaction:

  1. Trigger Activation: The process begins with the Telegram Trigger n8n node, which listens for new messages sent to your designated Telegram bot.

  2. Session Start: An Airtop 'Create a session' node initializes a browser environment using a saved Facebook profile, followed by a 'Create a window' node that navigates to Facebook.com.

  3. Loading Control: Multiple 'Wait' n8n nodes are strategically placed to ensure the page elements fully load before interaction begins, which is critical for browser automation.

  4. Content Input: The workflow uses an Airtop 'Click an element' n8n node to open the 'What's on your mind?' composer. The subsequent 'Type text' Airtop n8n node dynamically injects the message text captured by the initial Telegram trigger.

  5. Post Publication: A series of 'Click an element' nodes (configured in the original workflow using Russian selectors: 'далее', 'Опубликовать') handles the final submission process, including publishing the post and adding an automated first comment (typing text '@все @подписчки').

  6. Confirmation: Finally, a Telegram 'Send a text message' n8n node sends a confirmation back to the original chat, informing the user that the post has been successfully published on Facebook.

Installation Guide

To implement this powerful n8n workflow, follow these steps:

  1. Import: Download the provided JSON file and import it directly into your n8n instance.

  2. Credentials Setup:

Telegram: Set up a Telegram credential for the Telegram Trigger n8n node using your Bot Token. You must then start the workflow and follow the webhook setup instructions.
Airtop: Configure the Airtop credential using your API key. Note that you will need to run the workflow once and manually log into Facebook within the Airtop session to save the profile for subsequent runs (ensure saveProfileOnTermination is enabled).

  1. Activation: Ensure the workflow is active. Send a test message to your configured Telegram bot to verify that the cross-posting sequence executes correctly. This n8n templates design requires careful configuration of element selectors if Facebook's UI changes.

Node Details

Telegram Trigger (n8n trigger): This initial n8n node listens for updates (new messages) sent to the Telegram bot associated with the credential. It captures the message content and the chat ID for later confirmation.
Airtop: Create a session / Create a window: Initializes the browser automation environment, specifying the saved 'facebook' profile name and navigating to https://facebook.com.
Wait (n8n node): Essential for browser automation reliability. These nodes introduce mandatory delays (ranging from 1 to 3 seconds) between actions to allow web elements to fully render and prevent errors.
Airtop: Click an element / Type text: These core interaction nodes perform the posting task. They click on the status composer (Что у вас нового) and use expression logic to input the message text: ={{ $('Telegram Trigger').item.json.message.text }}.
Airtop: Click an element (Publishing Sequence): A series of Airtop clicks that handle the publishing dialog—selecting options and finally clicking the 'Опубликовать' (Publish) button.
Airtop: Type text1: Used to automatically tag users or leave a comment immediately after publishing, using text like @все @подписчки.

  • Telegram: Send a text message (n8n node): The final step, confirming successful execution by sending a text message (✅ Facebook: post published.) back to the originating Telegram chat ID.
