It uses a scheduled n8n trigger to check for new posts daily, pulls the content directly from WordPress via the API, and leverages the power of the OpenAI n8n node (GPT-4) to create concise, engaging summaries. The process is initiated by the Schedule Trigger, an essential n8n trigger component, which executes the entire n8n workflow daily at 9:00 AM. First, the Fetch Latest Post n8n node uses an HTTP Request to query the WordPress REST API for the most recent article published. The Set Article Details n8n node then cleans and organizes the returned JSON data, isolating the title, content, and permanent link.

In parallel, the Summarize with OpenAI n8n node takes the extracted article content and uses the powerful GPT-4 model to generate a summary containing three key points, based on a specific prompt.
