What is Ceaser Privacy Protocol?

The Ceaser Privacy Protocol skill provides a robust interface for interacting with zero-knowledge privacy pools on the Base L2 network. By utilizing Noir-compiled UltraHonk proofs, this skill allows users and autonomous agents to shield ETH into a privacy pool and unshield it to any destination address, effectively breaking the on-chain link between wallets. As a key component of Openclaw Skills, it offers both read-only queries for protocol health and active transaction management through a dedicated CLI and MCP server.

This skill is designed for developers who require high-assurance privacy tools. It manages the complexities of Merkle tree synchronization, ZK-proof verification, and gasless relaying via the x402 facilitator. By integrating this into your workflow, you gain access to a secure, non-custodial method of managing assets with professional-grade anonymity.

Ceaser Privacy Protocol Use Cases

  • Shielding specific ETH denominations (0.001 to 100 ETH) to obscure transaction history.
  • Executing gasless unshielding operations where the recipient address has no ETH for gas.
  • Verifying the status of nullifiers to prevent double-spending in privacy-centric applications.
  • Auditing pool statistics, including Total Value Locked (TVL) and current Merkle root state.
  • Managing local backups of private transaction notes for secure asset recovery.

How Ceaser Privacy Protocol Works

  1. The user selects a fixed denomination of ETH to shield, ensuring they fit within the protocol's anonymity sets.
  2. The skill generates a local zero-knowledge proof and a private note containing a secret and a nullifier.
  3. A shield transaction is prepared and presented to the user for signing and submission to the Base L2 chain.
  4. Once the transaction is indexed, the commitment is added to the 24-level Poseidon Merkle tree.
  5. To withdraw, the agent generates a burn proof using the stored private note and submits it to the Ceaser facilitator.
  6. The facilitator validates the proof and settles the transaction on-chain, paying the gas fees on behalf of the user.

Ceaser Privacy Protocol Setup

To get started with this skill in the Openclaw Skills environment, ensure you have Node.js and npx installed. You can interact with the protocol using the following commands:

# Install and view help
npx -y ceaser-mcp help

# Add as an MCP server for AI agents
claude mcp add --transport stdio ceaser -- npx -y ceaser-mcp

Notes and configuration are automatically stored in your home directory at ~/.ceaser-mcp/notes.json.

Ceaser Privacy Protocol Data Schema & Taxonomy

The skill manages data across local storage and protocol-level structures to ensure privacy:

Component Format Purpose
Private Notes JSON Contains the secret, nullifier, and commitment for unspent funds.
Merkle Tree Poseidon Hash A 24-level tree used to verify the inclusion of deposits.
Denominations Floating Point Fixed values (0.001, 0.01, 0.1, 1, 10, 100) to maintain anonymity.
Nullifiers bytes32 Unique identifiers used to mark a note as spent on-chain.
Facilitator Status API Response Monitors relay health, gas balances, and circuit breaker states.

Ceaser Privacy Protocol Advanced Features

  • Gasless settlement via the x402 facilitator, enabling withdrawals from completely empty wallets.
  • Local ZK-proof generation using Noir/UltraHonk circuits, ensuring private keys never leave your environment.
  • High-speed indexer access for instant Merkle root verification without relying on external RPC providers.
  • Support for multi-agent workflows through the Openclaw Skills MCP integration, allowing AI agents to manage private vaults.
  • Idempotent transaction submission to prevent redundant gas costs and ensure reliability.
