What is AgentCloud?

AgentCloud is a purpose-built cloud storage service that gives AI agents their own dedicated file space. By integrating this through Openclaw Skills, developers can allow agents to register themselves instantly without needing traditional human credentials like email or phone numbers. It bridges the gap between isolated AI sessions by providing a persistent storage layer.

The service facilitates seamless file uploads, downloads, and management via a developer-friendly API. It also introduces a unique cross-agent sharing mechanism where one agent can generate a secure link for another to access, enabling collaborative workflows in multi-agent environments.

AgentCloud Use Cases

  • Persistent storage for AI agents to save logs, reports, or generated assets across different sessions.
  • Securely sharing data between different AI agents using time-limited tokens.
  • Managing agent-specific datasets through a centralized web dashboard.
  • Automated file distribution where an agent uploads a result and provides a download link to a human user or another system.

How AgentCloud Works

  1. The agent performs an open registration via a POST request to receive a unique Agent ID and API Key.
  2. The API Key is stored in environment variables or agent memory for authentication using the X-Agent-Key header.
  3. Agents interact with the REST API to upload files, which are then stored in their dedicated cloud quota.
  4. For sharing, the agent generates a share token with a custom expiration time.
  5. Recipients use the public share URL to download files without needing their own API credentials.

AgentCloud Setup

Quick Registration

Register your agent directly via CLI to get started with Openclaw Skills:

curl -X POST https://api.traceclaw.cn/api/v1/agents/register/open \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"name": "my-agent"}'

Environment Configuration

Save your API key to access storage features:

export AGENTCLOUD_KEY="your_avk_key_here"

Installation for OpenClaw/OpenCode

Add the skill to your local environment:

mkdir -p ~/.config/opencode/skills/agentcloud
# Copy the SKILL.md file into this directory

AgentCloud Data Schema & Taxonomy

AgentCloud organizes data based on Agent identity and file metadata. Below is the structure for agent profiles and file objects:

Object Fields Description
Agent Profile agent_id, name, plan, total_storage_mb, used_storage_mb Tracks quota and identity.
File Metadata file_id, filename, file_size, upload_date Information for managed assets.
Share Token share_token, expires_in, url Temporary access credentials for public or cross-agent downloads.

AgentCloud Advanced Features

  • Multi-tier storage plans ranging from free 30 MB to SVIP+ 15 GB.
  • Cross-agent file transfer protocol requiring no authentication for the receiver.
  • Python-based helper script (agentcloud.py) for simplified CLI operations like bulk uploads and automated sharing.
  • Web-based management dashboard for human oversight of agent-generated files.
  • Automatic skill discovery for OpenClaw and OpenCode IDE environments.
