What is Dataddo?

Dataddo is a comprehensive no-code data integration platform designed to simplify the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from diverse sources into centralized destinations. This skill allows AI agents to interact directly with Dataddo resources, enabling automated data management for analysts and marketers. By leveraging Openclaw Skills, developers can integrate Dataddo functionality without worrying about the underlying authentication complexity.

The skill streamlines the process of connecting disparate data sources, ensuring that business intelligence professionals can gain insights faster. It provides a robust interface for managing flows, schedules, and integrations through a secure, managed environment that handles the heavy lifting of API communication and credential management.

Dataddo Use Cases

  • Automating recurring ETL data pipelines from marketing platforms to data warehouses.
  • Managing and monitoring data flows and synchronization schedules programmatically.
  • Programmatically updating data destinations and sources based on business triggers.
  • Extracting records from specific integrations for real-time reporting and dashboarding.
  • Centralizing disparate business data for advanced analytics and visualization within Openclaw Skills workflows.

How Dataddo Works

  1. The user authenticates with the Membrane CLI to establish a secure tenant session.
  2. The system identifies the correct Dataddo connector and initiates an OAuth-based connection.
  3. The AI agent searches for specific actions (Intents) based on the user's task, such as listing flows or running sources.
  4. Requests are routed through a managed proxy that injects required authentication headers and handles transparent credential refreshes.
  5. The skill executes actions or raw API requests, returning structured JSON data for further processing or automation.

Dataddo Setup

First, install the Membrane CLI to manage your integration environment:

npm install -g @membranehq/cli

Log in to your tenant account:

membrane login --tenant

Search for the Dataddo connector and create a new connection:

# Find the connector ID
membrane search dataddo --elementType=connector --json

# Connect using the ID from the previous step
membrane connect --connectorId=CONNECTOR_ID --json

Once connected, you can verify your setup by listing active connections:

membrane connection list --json

Dataddo Data Schema & Taxonomy

The Dataddo skill organizes data around the platform's core architectural components. All interactions utilize JSON schemas for validated inputs and structured outputs.

Entity Description
Destinations The target storage locations for processed data (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).
Sources The origin points for data extraction (e.g., Google Ads, Salesforce).
Flows The logical pipelines connecting sources to destinations with specific mapping.
Schedules Configuration objects that define when and how often data syncs occur.
Integrations Specific third-party service connections authorized within the Dataddo account.

Dataddo Advanced Features

  • Transparent Credential Refresh: Automatically manages OAuth token expiration for uninterrupted data pipelines within Openclaw Skills.
  • Intent-Based Action Discovery: Dynamically search for the most efficient pre-built actions to reduce token usage and improve reliability.
  • Managed API Proxy: Execute raw HTTP requests to the Dataddo API with automated header injection for edge cases not covered by standard actions.
  • Headless Authentication Support: Supports remote server configurations using command-line code completion.
  • Schema-Validated Inputs: Ensures all data sent to Dataddo endpoints adheres to required formats, preventing integration errors.
