What is Agent Dashboard V2?

Agent Dashboard V2 is a feature-rich web interface designed to provide high-level visibility and control over your AI agent ecosystem. Specifically built to enhance the management of Openclaw Skills, it offers a centralized hub for monitoring agent health, token consumption, and session statistics. By moving beyond simple command-line interactions, it provides developers with a sleek, responsive dashboard to orchestrate complex agent behaviors and track performance metrics in real-time.

The dashboard integrates seamlessly with existing configurations, allowing for the direct manipulation of agent personas, model settings, and skill assignments. Whether you are scaling a multi-agent workflow or fine-tuning a single assistant, this tool ensures that your Openclaw Skills are performing optimally through a user-friendly, data-driven environment.

Agent Dashboard V2 Use Cases

  • Tracking real-time token usage and estimating costs for multiple agents running Openclaw Skills.
  • Visually configuring and managing skill blacklists or whitelists for individual AI agents.
  • Orchestrating complex subagent dispatching to manage task delegation and concurrency permissions.
  • Creating new agent profiles with specific model providers and system prompts through a guided UI.

How Agent Dashboard V2 Works

  1. The dashboard backend initializes by scanning the local environment for Openclaw Skills configuration files and agent metadata.
  2. A Flask-based server starts up, providing a RESTful API that interfaces with the underlying JSON configuration system.
  3. Users access the web interface via a local port (default 5181) to view a real-time grid of all active and inactive agents.
  4. When changes are made in the UI, such as toggling a skill or updating a prompt, the dashboard persists these changes back to the global Openclaw Skills settings.
  5. The system continuously polls agent status and usage data, providing live updates on token count, session duration, and subagent hierarchies.
