What is DropClaw Store?

DropClaw Store is a high-security decentralized application designed to provide permanent file storage leveraging the Monad blockchain. By utilizing client-side AES-256-GCM encryption, it ensures that only the data owner possesses the decryption keys, maintaining a strict zero-knowledge environment. This Openclaw Skills implementation bridges the gap between local file management and immutable on-chain storage.

The skill operates via the x402 protocol, a standard for machine-to-machine payments. Users can store critical documents, backups, or sensitive data with confidence, knowing that the server never interacts with unencrypted content. With multi-chain payment support including Monad, Solana, and Base, it offers a flexible and robust solution for long-term data preservation within the Openclaw Skills ecosystem.

DropClaw Store Use Cases

  • Archiving sensitive legal or financial documents on an immutable ledger.
  • Creating permanent, encrypted backups of private keys or recovery phrases.
  • Storing project assets that require long-term availability without recurring subscription fees.
  • Integrating decentralized storage into automated CI/CD pipelines or AI agent workflows via Openclaw Skills.

How DropClaw Store Works

  1. The file is prepared locally by computing a SHA-256 hash and compressing it with zlib to optimize space.
  2. A unique 32-byte AES key and 12-byte Initialization Vector (IV) are generated on the client side.
  3. Data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM, ensuring integrity through an authentication tag.
  4. The encrypted blob is uploaded to the DropClaw vault, triggering an x402 payment request.
  5. Once payment is verified on the chosen network (Monad, Solana, or Base), the file is permanently stored.
  6. The user receives a skill file JSON which, along with the local key, is required for future retrieval via Openclaw Skills.

DropClaw Store Setup

To integrate this skill into your environment, you can use the MCP server for Claude or install the SDK. For Claude Desktop or Claude Code, add the following to your configuration:

claude mcp add dropclaw -- node /path/to/mcp/index.js

Alternatively, install the library using your preferred package manager to start using Openclaw Skills:

npm i dropclaw
# or
pip install dropclaw

DropClaw Store Data Schema & Taxonomy

Component Description
fileId Unique identifier for the stored encrypted blob
IV 12-byte Initialization Vector used for GCM
AuthTag 16-byte tag for verifying data integrity
Ciphertext The AES-256 encrypted file content
Skill File A JSON object containing metadata required for retrieval via Openclaw Skills

DropClaw Store Advanced Features
