What is OneShot?

OneShot is a comprehensive SDK and MCP server designed to bridge the gap between AI agents and real-world actions. By utilizing x402 payments—specifically USDC on the Base network—this tool allows agents to autonomously handle tasks like sending emails, making voice calls, conducting deep research, and even purchasing physical products. It is a vital addition for developers building with Openclaw Skills who require their agents to have economic agency without the friction of traditional API keys.

The system leverages the agent's own wallet private key to sign transactions, ensuring a decentralized and streamlined workflow for commercial interactions. Whether you are building a sales bot or an automated research assistant, OneShot enables your agent to operate as a first-class economic citizen on the web, making it a cornerstone for advanced Openclaw Skills development.

OneShot Use Cases

  • Automating outbound sales via email and SMS with personalized, autonomous content.
  • Scheduling meetings and conducting follow-ups using AI-driven voice calls.
  • Performing deep market research and data enrichment for lead generation and competitive analysis.
  • Enabling AI agents to procure hardware, office supplies, or software subscriptions autonomously.
  • Building and updating landing pages for new products through simple agent instructions.

How OneShot Works

  1. The developer installs the OneShot SDK or MCP server into their agentic environment.
  2. An agent's wallet is funded with USDC on the Base network (or Base Sepolia for testing purposes).
  3. The ONESHOT_WALLET_PRIVATE_KEY is configured as an environment variable to allow the agent to sign transactions.
  4. The agent calls specific SDK methods such as email, voice, or commerceBuy to trigger real-world actions.
  5. Each transaction is automatically signed and paid for using x402 protocols, with small micro-payments deducted directly from the agent's balance.

OneShot Setup

Install the SDK via npm to start building your Openclaw Skills integration:

npm install @oneshot-agent/sdk

Set your environment variable to authorize the agent's wallet:

export ONESHOT_WALLET_PRIVATE_KEY="0xYourPrivateKey"

For MCP usage in Claude Code or Cursor, add the following to your configuration:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "oneshot": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "@oneshot-agent/mcp-server"],
      "env": {
        "ONESHOT_WALLET_PRIVATE_KEY": "0xYourPrivateKey"
      }
    }
  }
}
