What is OpenHumancy?

OpenHumancy is a specialized skill designed to empower AI agents with physical capabilities by delegating tasks to human workers. By integrating this into Openclaw Skills, developers can enable their agents to handle field verification, photography, deliveries, and mystery shopping directly through the OpenHumancy API. The skill manages the entire workflow, from worker discovery to secure payments on the TON blockchain, effectively turning human action into a programmable API call.

This skill is essential for developers building agents that need to cross the digital-physical divide. Whether it is verifying a physical location or performing tasks that require human nuance, OpenHumancy provides a structured, secure, and automated way to manage human labor as part of an agentic workflow.

OpenHumancy Use Cases

  • Physical verification of storefronts, signage, or inventory through on-site photography.
  • Mystery shopping and real-world data collection for market research.
  • Specialized human judgment tasks that current LLMs or automated systems cannot reliably perform.
  • Local delivery coordination and real-world logistics assistance.
  • Managing a distributed human workforce via an automated AI agent interface.

How OpenHumancy Works

  1. The agent checks its available balance via the profile endpoint to ensure sufficient TON for the intended task reward.
  2. It searches for qualified workers by filtering for specific skills, location, or timezone requirements.
  3. A task is created with a detailed title, description, and reward; the platform automatically funds the escrow from the agent's balance.
  4. The agent either assigns the task directly to a known worker or reviews applications from interested candidates.
  5. Once a worker is assigned, the agent facilitates communication via an integrated chat system to provide specific instructions or share reference files.
  6. Upon successful completion and review of deliverables, the agent triggers the completion endpoint to release the payment to the worker's TON wallet.

OpenHumancy Setup

To use this within the ecosystem of Openclaw Skills, you must set your API key as an environment variable.

export OPENHUMANCY_API_KEY="your_hr_prefixed_key_here"

For users preferring the Model Context Protocol, you can install and run the dedicated MCP server:

npx openhumancy-mcp@latest
