What is Para MPC Wallet?

Para MPC Wallet provides a robust framework for managing blockchain identities through Multi-Party Computation. By splitting private keys into independent shares, this skill ensures that a full private key never exists on a single machine, making it a critical tool for developers building secure Openclaw Skills. It supports EVM, Solana, and Cosmos networks, offering a unified REST API for wallet generation and data signing.

This skill is designed for highly secure environments where AI agents must interact with decentralized ledgers. By utilizing the Para infrastructure, agents can perform financial operations and identity verification without the risks associated with traditional private key storage, enhancing the overall security posture of Openclaw Skills integrations.

Para MPC Wallet Use Cases

  • Automated on-chain transaction signing for AI agents within the Openclaw Skills ecosystem.
  • Securely generating user-specific wallets for decentralized applications and dApps.
  • Building non-custodial financial bots that require multi-chain support.
  • Managing cryptographic identities for EVM, Solana, and Cosmos via a centralized agent interface.

How Para MPC Wallet Works

  1. The agent initiates a request to create a wallet using a unique user identifier and blockchain network type.
  2. The Para API starts an asynchronous Multi-Party Computation (MPC) key generation process and returns a temporary wallet ID.
  3. The system polls the wallet status endpoint until the state transitions from creating to ready.
  4. Once the status is confirmed as ready, the agent can submit hex-encoded data to the signing endpoint.
  5. Para's distributed nodes sign the data using their respective key shares and return a combined signature for use on-chain.

Para MPC Wallet Setup

  1. Obtain an API key from the Para developer portal at developer.getpara.com.
  2. Set the required environment variable in your Openclaw Skills environment:
export PARA_API_KEY="your-secret-api-key"
  1. Start development using the Beta base URL (https://api.beta.getpara.com) before transitioning to production for live mainnet transactions.

Para MPC Wallet Data Schema & Taxonomy

The skill interacts with the Para API using structured JSON payloads and follows a specific metadata taxonomy for tracking wallets. The primary data fields involved in the lifecycle of Openclaw Skills wallets include:

Field Type Description
id UUID Unique identifier for the MPC wallet
type String The blockchain network (EVM, SOLANA, or COSMOS)
status String Current lifecycle state (creating or ready)
address String The public blockchain address (available when ready)
publicKey String The hexadecimal public key for the wallet

Para MPC Wallet Advanced Features

  • Smart Conflict Resolution: Automatically handles 409 status codes to prevent duplicate wallet creation and retrieve existing IDs.
  • Multi-Scheme Support: Support for various signature schemes including DKLS, CGGMP, and ED25519 to match specific chain requirements.
  • Request Tracing: Use of X-Request-Id headers to audit and trace transaction workflows across complex Openclaw Skills implementations.
  • Distributed Security: Native MPC model ensuring no single point of compromise for private keys during the signing process.
