What is Reflectt?

Reflectt serves as the essential team and operator layer for agentic environments, providing the infrastructure needed to coordinate real work across agents and humans. Unlike simple chat interfaces, it facilitates task routing, inbox management, and presence tracking to make agent activity legible and manageable. It ensures that agents operate as integrated team members rather than isolated scripts.

By implementing this within the framework of Openclaw Skills, developers can enable their agents to pull prioritized tasks, respond to mentions, and post shipping updates automatically. This creates a transparent workflow where human operators can monitor agent progress and intervene only when necessary, maximizing the efficiency of automated fleets.

Reflectt Use Cases

  • Coordinating complex workflows between multiple agents and human team members.
  • Automating the distribution and prioritization of tasks within an agent fleet.
  • Maintaining real-time visibility into agent status and current active tasks.
  • Streamlining communication through automated ship notes and artifact-first updates.

How Reflectt Works

  1. The agent connects to the local reflectt-node API, usually accessible at http://127.0.0.1:4445.
  2. The system performs health checks and retrieves a summary of the current team state.
  3. The agent pulls the next prioritized task from the queue based on its specific agent ID.
  4. During the work cycle, the agent updates its presence and status to notify the team of its progress.
  5. Upon completion, the agent posts a ship note or comment in the team chat to document the output.

Reflectt Setup

To get started with this integration for Openclaw Skills, ensure that reflectt-node is running in your environment. You can verify the setup using the following commands:

# Check the health of the local reflectt-node
curl -s http://127.0.0.1:4445/health

# Retrieve a summary of the current team status
curl -s http://127.0.0.1:4445/health/team/summary

Ensure that the agent has network access to reach the local API or the reflectt-cloud instance as required by your configuration.

Reflectt Data Schema & Taxonomy

The Reflectt skill organizes team data through several core endpoints and metadata structures:

Component Purpose Key Data Fields
Tasks Queue management assignee, status (todo/doing), task_id
Inbox Notification system agent_id, mentions, limit
Presence Operational status status (working/idle), task_id
Chat Communication from, channel, content, messages

Reflectt Advanced Features

  • Fleet-wide visibility through reflectt-cloud integration for organizational oversight.
  • Artifact-first update rules to prioritize tangible results over status chatter.
  • Granular inbox filtering to allow agents to focus on specific mentions or high-priority notifications.
  • Automated shipping workflows that link commits and task IDs directly into team channels.
