How StatementEdge Works
- Authentication: The workflow starts by validating your client token with the StatementEdge service.
- PDF Upload: The PDF is posted securely to the convert endpoint. If the document is password-protected, the password is processed entirely in volatile memory.
- Extraction & Reconciliation: The vision-native processor extracts fields, analyzes localized decimal formats, and performs mathematical validation (opening balance + transactions sum = closing balance).
- Status Polling: The client polls the status endpoint to monitor job completion status.
- Format-Specific Export: Upon completion, the parsed structured transactions are exported directly to standard raw JSON or formatted as native CSV, Excel, QBO, or OFX files.
