What is ToneClone?

ToneClone moves beyond generic AI humanizers by training on your actual writing samples to create a personalized AI ghostwriter. By integrating these Openclaw Skills into your workflow, you can generate emails, social media posts, and documentation that sound exactly like you, rather than a generic machine.

This tool focuses on authenticity by learning your specific tone, vocabulary, and stylistic quirks across different contexts. It allows users to maintain a consistent personal brand and voice across all digital communications while leveraging the speed of artificial intelligence.

ToneClone Use Cases

  • Drafting emails and Slack messages that maintain your professional or casual tone
  • Creating social media posts for Twitter or LinkedIn in your authentic voice
  • Generating technical documentation that matches your specific writing style
  • Humanizing AI content naturally to bypass detection through personalized training
  • Managing multiple personas for different contexts like client support versus internal chat

How ToneClone Works

  1. Install the CLI and authenticate with your API key to sync with your account.
  2. Create a Persona (e.g., "Professional Email" or "Casual Social") to categorize different writing styles.
  3. Upload training data consisting of your previous writing samples (ideally 15-20) to the specific persona.
  4. Define Knowledge Cards to provide the AI with factual context like contact info, product details, or project background.
  5. Execute the write command with a prompt to generate content in your specific voice using Openclaw Skills.
  6. Apply StyleGuard rules or FingerPrint typos to further refine the authentic feel of the output.

ToneClone Setup

Install the CLI via Homebrew:

brew tap toneclone/toneclone
brew install toneclone

Authenticate the CLI tool:

toneclone auth login

Ensure you have your API key from the ToneClone dashboard and configure the TONECLONE_API_KEY environment variable to enable these Openclaw Skills.
