What is ZeroDust Chain Exit?

ZeroDust Chain Exit is a specialized skill designed for users who need to fully exit a blockchain or consolidate small dust balances into a single destination. By leveraging EIP-7702 sponsored execution, this skill allows for the transfer of an entire wallet balance, including the amount usually reserved for gas, resulting in a clean zero balance. It is a vital addition to any suite of Openclaw Skills for developers and power users managing multi-chain assets.

The skill supports 25 major mainnet chains including Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum. Unlike traditional transfers that leave fractional remainders due to gas estimation, ZeroDust uses a sponsored execution model where the service fee and gas costs are deducted from the sweep amount itself, ensuring the source wallet is completely emptied.

ZeroDust Chain Exit Use Cases

  • Fully exiting a blockchain by moving all native tokens to a different network.
  • Sweeping small dust balances that are otherwise too expensive to move.
  • Consolidating funds from multiple wallets or chains into a single treasury address.
  • Emptying a compromised or retired wallet completely for security purposes.
  • Moving 100% of a balance to a new chain without leaving any remainder for gas.

How ZeroDust Chain Exit Works

  1. The agent requests a quote to check the current balance, service fees, and estimated received amount on the destination chain.
  2. The user registers or provides a valid API key to authorize the request via the ZeroDust backend.
  3. The skill retrieves EIP-712 typed data and EIP-7702 delegation parameters required for the transaction.
  4. The user signs three specific messages: the delegation authorization, a pre-signed revocation, and the sweep intent.
  5. The signed messages are submitted to the sweep endpoint for execution.
  6. The agent polls the transaction status until the sweep is completed and the source balance reaches zero.

ZeroDust Chain Exit Setup

To integrate this with your Openclaw Skills, you must first register for an API key.

curl -X POST https://zerodust-backend-production.up.railway.app/agent/register \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "name": "My OpenClaw Agent",
    "agentId": "openclaw-unique-id"
  }'

Once you receive your apiKey, store it as an environment variable named ZERODUST_API_KEY. This key is required for all agent-specific endpoints and batch operations.

ZeroDust Chain Exit Data Schema & Taxonomy

The skill interacts with the ZeroDust API to manage transaction lifecycle data and quotes.

Object Description
Quote Contains quoteId, balance, totalFeeWei, and estimatedReceive.
Authorization Includes typedData (EIP-712) and eip7702 delegation parameters.
Sweep Status Tracks sweepId, status (pending/completed), and txHash.
Batch A collection of sweep objects for multi-chain consolidation.

ZeroDust Chain Exit Advanced Features

  • Batch Sweeps: Consolidate funds from multiple chains like Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon into a single destination in one workflow.
  • Sponsored Execution: Uses EIP-7702 to allow ZeroDust to pay gas upfront, which is then reimbursed from the swept amount.
  • Pre-signed Revocation: Ensures the EIP-7702 delegation is immediately revoked after the sweep, maintaining wallet security.
  • Cross-Chain Bridging: Integration with Gas.zip to move swept funds to any supported destination chain automatically.
