What is getdesign?
getdesign is an AI-powered design system extractor that analyzes any public website by opening it in a real browser, capturing screenshots, reading its CSS, and generating a structured design.md file. The output documents the site's visual theme, color palette, typography, spacing, components, design tokens, and screenshots. Users can access getdesign through a web dashboard, API, CLI, TypeScript SDK, or coding-agent Skill. Version 1 is available in public beta and uses the user's own Daytona and OpenAI keys.
How to use getdesign?
Sign in to the getdesign dashboard, save your Daytona and OpenAI provider keys in Account, and paste a public website URL into Agent. getdesign opens the page in a real browser, captures the rendered interface, analyzes its CSS and design tokens, and generates a downloadable design.md file with screenshots. Users can also run extractions through the API, CLI, SDK, or Skill.
