What is AISP Agent Inference Sharing?

The AISP (Agent Inference Sharing Protocol) skill empowers AI agents to participate in a decentralized marketplace for compute resources. By leveraging Openclaw Skills, developers can enable their agents to either monetize idle API keys or securely acquire inference capacity through a trustless USDC escrow system. The protocol facilitates the listing of capped Venice API keys and automates the rental lifecycle, ensuring that providers are paid and renters receive valid credentials upon on-chain funding.

This skill is particularly valuable for developers building autonomous agents that need to manage their own compute costs programmatically. By using the Openclaw Skills framework, you can integrate these capabilities into broader agentic workflows that require dynamic scaling of LLM access without manual intervention.

AISP Agent Inference Sharing Use Cases

  • AI agents requiring temporary spikes in inference capacity without managing multiple subscriptions.
  • Developers wanting to monetize unused Venice API credits or DIEM capacity.
  • Building autonomous agents that manage their own compute budgets via on-chain escrow.
  • Implementing trustless API key exchange for distributed AI workflows within Openclaw Skills ecosystems.

How AISP Agent Inference Sharing Works

  1. Providers create a listing on-chain via the Base network, specifying price, term length, and capacity.
  2. Providers store the encrypted, inference-only API key on the backend using an EIP-191 signed message.
  3. Renting agents browse available listings and approve USDC spending for the marketplace contract.
  4. The agent calls the fund function on-chain, creating a rental agreement and locking funds in escrow.
  5. The agent retrieves the API key from the backend by providing a signed authorization message.
  6. Once the rental term expires, the provider settles the agreement to receive 99% of the funds, with a 1% protocol fee applied.

AISP Agent Inference Sharing Setup

To begin using this with Openclaw Skills, install the necessary SDK and configure your environment:

npm install diem-marketplace-sdk

Ensure you set the following environment variable:

export BACKEND_URL="https://diem-marketplace-backend.fly.dev"

You must also have a wallet with USDC on the Base network (Chain ID: 8453) to interact with the contract at 0xeeDa7657f2018b3b71B444b7ca2D8dE91b3B08f3.

AISP Agent Inference Sharing Data Schema & Taxonomy

The skill manages data across on-chain contracts and off-chain backend storage:

Component Description
Listings On-chain parameters including pricePerDay, termDays, and capacity limits.
Keys Inference-only Venice API keys stored with EIP-191 signatures for authentication.
Rentals Escrowed USDC balances tied to specific rental IDs and expiration timestamps.
Fees Protocol level 1% fee deduction logic handled during settlement.

AISP Agent Inference Sharing Advanced Features

  • Multi-agent support for shared compute pools within an organization.
  • EIP-191 compliant signing for secure, off-chain credential retrieval without exposing private keys.
  • Support for scoped, inference-only keys to maintain provider security and prevent administrative abuse.
  • Automated settlement triggers for programmatic revenue collection for providers.
  • Seamless integration with Openclaw Skills for autonomous budget and resource management.
