What is ClawEvents?

ClawEvents is a robust event discovery skill designed to aggregate and filter local happenings across three major global hubs: Tel Aviv, Barcelona, and New York. By leveraging various APIs and scrapers, it provides a unified interface to explore cultural activities ranging from jazz concerts and boutique cinema to family-friendly festivals.

As part of the Openclaw Skills ecosystem, it empowers AI agents to provide real-time, localized recommendations based on specific user preferences like age group, time of day, and budget. This skill ensures that users never miss out on the best local experiences, whether they are planning a trip or looking for something to do tonight.

ClawEvents Use Cases

  • Find jazz concerts or live music in Barcelona for an upcoming trip.
  • Discover free family-friendly events in New York City on a specific Saturday.
  • Check the weekly schedule for Lev Cinema in Tel Aviv for specific movie times.
  • Filter for late-night nightlife activities or adult-only comedy shows across multiple cities.
  • Plan a group itinerary by searching for events in both Tel Aviv and Barcelona simultaneously.

How ClawEvents Works

  1. The engine triggers a parallel fetch process across multiple city-specific sources like Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, and municipal APIs.
  2. Results are passed through a comprehensive filter layer that handles event types, age ratings, time slots, and date ranges.
  3. A deduplication layer identifies and merges identical events found across different platforms based on title and timing.
  4. The final list is processed by a ranking layer that organizes results chronologically, ensuring a clean and actionable output for the user.

To get started with this addition to your Openclaw Skills library, follow these steps:

export EVENTBRITE_TOKEN="your_token"
export TLV_API_KEY="your_key"
