What is Evolink Image?

Evolink Image is a versatile tool designed for developers and creators who need access to a wide array of AI image generation models without managing multiple API keys. By integrating with Openclaw Skills, this tool provides a unified gateway to 20 different models, including GPT-4o Image, Gemini, and Seedream, enabling high-quality text-to-image and image-to-image workflows.

Whether you are performing complex inpainting or rapid prototyping with ultra-fast models, this skill streamlines the creative process. It handles the complexities of asynchronous task management and file hosting, making it an essential addition to any developer's toolkit within the ecosystem of Openclaw Skills.

Evolink Image Use Cases

  • Creating high-fidelity photorealistic images for marketing materials.
  • Rapidly iterating on UI/UX mockups using turbo models.
  • Performing advanced image editing and inpainting with GPT-4o.
  • Converting existing images into new styles using image-to-image models.
  • Managing a centralized library of AI-generated assets via the integrated File API.

How Evolink Image Works

  1. The user provides a text prompt or uploads an initial image using the integrated upload tool.
  2. The skill validates the Evolink API key and user intent to select the most appropriate model.
  3. A generation task is initiated via the generate_image tool, returning a unique task ID.
  4. The system automatically polls the task status every few seconds, providing real-time progress updates.
  5. Once completed, the skill retrieves the final image URLs and presents them to the user for download.

Evolink Image Setup

First, obtain an API key from the Evolink dashboard. To add this to your environment as part of your Openclaw Skills configuration, use the following commands:

# For Claude Code
claude mcp add evolink-media -e EVOLINK_API_KEY=your-key -- npx -y @evolinkai/evolink-media@latest

For Desktop or Cursor users, configure the MCP server using npx -y @evolinkai/evolink-media@latest and ensure the EVOLINK_API_KEY environment variable is set.

Evolink Image Data Schema & Taxonomy
