What is IntercomSwap?

IntercomSwap is a specialized tool designed for high-risk financial operations within the Openclaw Skills ecosystem. It enables Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Request for Quote (RFQ) negotiations over Intercom sidechannels, facilitating trustless settlement between Bitcoin (Lightning Network) and USDT on the Solana blockchain. Built with an OpenClaw-hardened security model, it prioritizes safety by enforcing a manual-only execution flow and requiring explicit human approval for every fund-moving transaction.

This skill acts as a manual interface to a local tool gateway, ensuring that the AI agent cannot autonomously move funds or install unauthorized software. By utilizing an escrow program on Solana and the speed of the Lightning Network, IntercomSwap provides a non-custodial framework for sophisticated cross-chain trading without compromising on security or operator control.

IntercomSwap Use Cases

  • Executing P2P swaps of Bitcoin on Lightning for USDT on Solana.
  • Negotiating trade terms through secure, encrypted Intercom sidechannels.
  • Managing cross-chain liquidity with rigorous manual operator oversight.
  • Settling financial agreements via Solana escrow programs without centralized intermediaries.

How IntercomSwap Works

  1. The operator initializes the environment with pre-provisioned binaries, Solana keypairs, and Lightning credentials.
  2. The skill connects to the local promptd execution gateway to access the swap tool surface.
  3. Swap terms are negotiated through the RFQ protocol over established sidechannels.
  4. When a swap is ready for settlement, the agent generates a proposal for the transaction.
  5. The human operator must provide explicit approval for any action that signs a Solana transaction or initiates a Lightning payment.
  6. Upon approval, the skill executes the swap, settling the assets across both networks simultaneously.

IntercomSwap Setup

To integrate this into your Openclaw Skills environment, ensure the following steps are completed by a system administrator:

  1. Environment Prep: Install Node.js (version 22 or higher) and the Pear runtime.
  2. Backend Config: Ensure either lncli (LND) or lightning-cli (CLN) is available for Lightning operations.
  3. Environment Variables: Export the required configuration path:
export INTERCOMSWAP_PROMPTD_CONFIG=/path/to/your/config.json
  1. Credential Provisioning: Place Solana signer keypairs and RPC endpoint details in the secure onchain/ directory. Do not expose these to the agent prompts.
  2. Gateway Launch: Start the promptd service to expose the tool schemas to the agent interface.

IntercomSwap Data Schema & Taxonomy

The skill organizes its operational data into protected directories to maintain security boundaries:

Directory Purpose
onchain/ Contains Solana transaction data, signing authority files, and prompt definitions.
stores/ Local storage for swap state history and peer negotiation metadata.
onchain/prompt/ JSON schemas defining the available tool surface for the agent.

All sensitive paths are excluded from agent exfiltration to prevent secret leakage during Openclaw Skills operations.

IntercomSwap Advanced Features

  • OpenClaw-hardened security model preventing autonomous execution of high-risk financial actions.
  • Multi-backend Lightning support compatible with both LND and Core Lightning nodes.
  • Native Solana escrow program integration for secure, non-custodial USDT settlement.
  • Restricted tool surface via promptd to eliminate the risk of prompt injection escalation.
  • Operator-only provisioning requirements that prevent the agent from downloading or executing external code at runtime.
