Knowledge Index Curator is an Openclaw skill for routine knowledge operations: it processes a supplied segmented note and returns an update for a shared section and backlink index. It extracts the note reference, heading, content digest, sections, tags, and links into a structured result.
The skill requires no credentials or access to private files. Its bundled Python operation can create or update a local business artifact, and it can perform a configured delivery action when an explicit delivery target is provided. Openclaw Skills users get a reproducible workflow with validated input and output, duplicate handling, and a delivery receipt when applicable.
segmented_note object containing reference, heading, tags, links, content_digest, and sections.index_update with the index ID, note reference and heading, content digest, indexed sections, backlinks, deduplication status, and number of duplicates removed.Run the bundled operation from the installed package directory with Python 3.10 or newer. Prepare a JSON request file containing the segmented_note input field, then pass its path with --input and choose an output directory:
python scripts/run.py --input examples/request.json --output-dir ./workspace
The bundled example demonstrates the expected input shape. The package uses only Python standard-library dependencies. Without delivery configuration, the operation writes its business artifact locally. For delivery, configure the relevant environment variables—CLAWHUB_SMTP_HOST, CLAWHUB_SMTP_PORT, and CLAWHUB_MAIL_FROM for message sends, or CLAWHUB_DELIVERY_ENDPOINT for registration and submission—or provide an explicit --delivery-config JSON file.

The operation creates or updates a local business artifact beneath the selected --output-dir. The implementation is in scripts/operation.py, input/output validation is in scripts/validation.py, and role configuration is in scripts/config.json. Bundled example values and configured local records support reproducibility.
