Market & Customer Insight is an Openclaw Skills capability for analyzing a specified market, category, product, or company through three connected frameworks: ST analysis for segmentation, targeting, and scenarios; APPEALS for seven-dimensional customer-needs analysis; and KANO for classifying requirements and identifying potential breakthrough features.
The skill turns validated user inputs and authorized external research into an interactive, browser-ready HTML report. It produces segmentation tables, target-market scoring, customer personas, scenario cards, APPEALS radar data, KANO matrices, blue-ocean opportunity bubbles, source records, and evidence-based strategic recommendations. It remains deliberately focused on customer insight and unmet needs rather than product positioning, 4P marketing, or broad industry research.
This skill is user-invocable and does not require a package installation. Place the skill resources in the agent's skill directory with the required reference documents and HTML template.
Required resources:
references/st-model.mdreferences/appeals-model.mdreferences/kano-model.mdreferences/blue-ocean-strategy.mdtemplates/report.htmlThe skill requires access to the following tools: WebSearch, WebFetch, AskUserQuestion, Read, Write, and Skill. Web access must be authorized by the user before external data is retrieved.
Use the skill through a natural-language request such as:
# Example invocation in an OpenClaw-compatible agent session
market-customer-analysis "Analyze the domestic smart fitness mirror market and identify unmet customer needs"
The generated report is saved in the current working directory using this naming pattern:
[subject]_市场与客户分析_[YYYY-MM-DD].html
The output must remain a self-contained HTML file with no external runtime dependencies. Preserve the complete DATA object schema, including empty arrays for unused sections, and open the saved file directly in a browser for review.
The report uses a single JavaScript DATA object injected into templates/report.html:

Important taxonomy and calculation rules:
(unmet need + market attractiveness + capability fit) / 15 × 100. Scores of 66 or higher are high priority, 33–66 are medium priority, and scores below 33 are low priority.AskUserQuestion follow-ups avoid repetitive questioning and move forward when at least 80% of required baseline information is already available.read_me and show_widget for interim visualization while reserving the complete HTML report as the required final deliverable.Loading
