What is nano-pdf?

nano-pdf is a specialized tool designed to streamline PDF modifications without the need for complex, heavy-duty software. By integrating this capability into Openclaw Skills, developers and power users can manipulate page content, update text, and fix formatting errors directly via terminal commands or automated workflows. It leverages natural language processing to translate user intent into precise document edits, making document maintenance faster than ever.

nano-pdf Use Cases

  • Updating presentation titles and subtitles across multiple slides.
  • Fixing typos and grammatical errors on specific PDF pages.
  • Changing dates or contact information in reports using simple instructions.
  • Automating document edits within programmatic workflows using Openclaw Skills.

How nano-pdf Works

  1. The user identifies a target PDF file and the specific page index requiring modification.
  2. A natural language instruction is passed to the nano-pdf CLI tool describing the desired change.
  3. The tool processes the instruction to identify the relevant elements on the specified page.
  4. nano-pdf applies the edits and generates a modified version of the document for verification.
