What is One-Pager?

The One-Pager skill in Openclaw Skills helps you compress a complex idea into a page that busy readers can understand in seconds. It enforces tight thinking: define the audience, state the problem concretely, lead with the outcome, and end with one specific ask.

Use it for investor leave-behinds, product one-sheets, project briefs, or partnership summaries. The result is a skimmable, PDF-ready document that reads like a polished brief instead of a dump of notes, especially when paired with the Paper or Modern PDF theme.

One-Pager Use Cases

  • When you need an investor one-pager that explains traction, timing, and differentiation fast.
  • When you are turning a product into a one-sheet that leads with user outcome, not features.
  • When you need a project brief that aligns stakeholders on scope, plan, and timeline.
  • When you are preparing a partnership leave-behind with a concrete offer and clear next step.
  • When you need Openclaw Skills to transform scattered notes into a concise executive summary.

How One-Pager Works

  1. Inspect the brief for the four required inputs: what it is for and who it is for, the core, proof or why now, and the ask. Only request what is missing.
  2. Choose the audience lens and set the emphasis accordingly: investor, product, project, or partner.
  3. Draft the one-page structure in order: title, tagline, problem, solution, why now or why us, audience-specific block, and the ask.
  4. Rewrite for clarity and scannability by replacing abstract language with concrete pain, user outcome, and proof.
  5. Run the quality checks: one page only, a stranger understands the tagline, the problem is specific, proof is real, and the CTA is explicit.
  6. Export the final brief as a typeset PDF, ideally using Openclaw Skills with the Paper or Modern theme for a polished leave-behind.

One-Pager Setup

No special runtime dependencies are required. Add the One-Pager skill to your Openclaw Skills library, then supply the four required inputs when you invoke it.

cp -R ./one-pager /path/to/openclaw-skills/skills/

Configure the output by choosing the audience first and, if you are generating a PDF, pair the draft with the Paper or Modern theme for a polished one-sheet.

  1. Install or import the skill into your Openclaw Skills workspace.
  2. Gather the inputs: audience, core, proof or why now, and ask.
  3. Select the PDF theme you want for export.
  4. Generate the page and trim anything that pushes it beyond a single page.

One-Pager Data Schema & Taxonomy

The One-Pager skill uses a single-document schema with no persistent datastore. It generates one polished, skimmable brief that can be exported as a typeset PDF, especially with Paper or Modern.

Element Type Purpose
Title string Main headline for the page
Tagline string Immediate plain-English explanation
Problem text block 2-3 sentences describing pain and urgency
Solution text block Outcome-first description of what is built or proposed
Why now / why us text block Proof, timing, metrics, differentiation
Audience block structured block Investor traction, product how-it-works, project plan, or partnership offer
Ask CTA string The exact next action
Quality checks checklist Fit, clarity, proof, one-page constraint
  • Generated files: one Markdown draft and one PDF-ready one-sheet.
  • Metadata taxonomy: audience type, proof type, CTA type, and theme selection.
  • Editing rule: keep only content that earns its place on the page.

One-Pager Advanced Features

  • Audience-aware variants that adapt the same Openclaw Skills workflow to investor, product, project, and partnership contexts.
  • Openclaw Skills-friendly output that pairs cleanly with the Paper or Modern PDF themes.
  • Built-in guardrails against common failure modes: overflow, vague pain, feature dumping, and unsupported claims.
  • Proof-first storytelling that prioritizes metrics, timing, and differentiation over fluffy positioning.
  • Audience-specific blocks for traction, how it works, plan and timeline, or the offer.
  • Clear CTA architecture that forces one specific next step and keeps the leave-behind action-oriented.
