What is OSINT Personal Profiler?

OSINT Personal Profiler is an Openclaw Skills workflow for converting a small set of public identifiers into a structured, source-backed 12-dimensional profile of a person.

It is designed for lawful open-source research, exposure audits, and background screening: it prioritizes public data, tags every field with provenance and retrieval time, resolves conflicts across sources, scores confidence, and returns a complete report with source inventory, gap analysis, and redacted outputs.

OSINT Personal Profiler Use Cases

  • Security and self-exposure audits for individuals or teams
  • Lawful background checks for candidates, collaborators, or counterparties
  • Threat modeling to understand what an attacker could learn from public traces
  • Academic or privacy research on digital footprints and online identity
  • Social engineering defense planning and red-team awareness reviews

How OSINT Personal Profiler Works

  1. Validate scope, legal authorization, and the smallest possible seed identifiers; anything outside public access is marked as not collected.
  2. Expand targets with identifier weakening and an 8-level source discovery process, then rank candidate sources by density, accessibility, and trust.
  3. Populate the entity layer and D1 discovery map by extracting factual public attributes, cross-checking records where available, and tagging every field with source and timestamp.
  4. Build the social layer by mapping relationship nodes, relationship type, strength, direction, and hierarchy.
  5. Infer the abstract layer from public traces such as writing style, résumé text, code patterns, career trajectory, and behavioral signals.
  6. Reconcile cross-source conflicts, de-duplicate repeated facts, assign confidence levels, and explicitly record missing or zero-result dimensions.
  7. Assemble the final report bundle with the 12D profile, confidence matrix, source inventory, digital footprint index, gap list, and optional redaction for sensitive fields.

OSINT Personal Profiler Setup

  • This Openclaw Skills package is self-contained; no external libraries, APIs, or model adapters are required.
  • Place the skill folder in the agent's skills directory so the runtime can read the bundled reference files.
  • Ensure the reference catalog, requirements, and exemplars are available to the agent.
  • Configure default legal guardrails, source attribution, and local-only storage for outputs.
# Confirm the bundled reference docs are present
find references -maxdepth 2 -type f | sort
# Example: copy the skill into your local skills directory
cp -R osint-personal-profiler /path/to/openclaw/skills/
# Optional: prepare a local workspace for reports and redacted exports
mkdir -p outputs/osint-personal-profiler

OSINT Personal Profiler Data Schema & Taxonomy

Core profile model

Layer Dimensions Purpose Typical fields
Entity 1-6 Factual attributes that can be directly observed or lightly normalized Industry, role, organization, family/social identity, physical traits, nationality, language, education, appearance
Social 7-8 Relationship and hierarchy structure Relationship node, relation type, strength, direction, organizational level, influence
Abstract 9-12 Inferred behavioral and strategic signals Functional style, capability map, motivation, life stage, trajectory, situational dynamics

Task and reference files

  • references/osint-pp-catalog.md: 7 domains and 23 tasks, including dependency topology and execution order.
  • references/osint-pp-requirements.md: method requirements, legal guardrails, confidence rules, and output constraints.
  • references/exemplars/: sample outputs and template patterns for reproducible profiling.

Metadata taxonomy

  • source: origin, platform, record type, and retrieval timestamp.
  • legality: public, needs authorization, unavailable, or rejected.
  • confidence: high, medium, low, or inferred.
  • provenance: direct, cross-verified, or inferred chain.
  • sensitivity: redaction-ready marker for sensitive identifiers.
  • gap: information insufficient, source inaccessible, or not inferable.
  • conflict: versioned contradiction notes across sources.

Output bundle

  • 12D profile
  • confidence matrix and incremental comparison
  • digital footprint index
  • source inventory
  • gap list and zero-result platform notes

OSINT Personal Profiler Advanced Features

  • 8-level source discovery templates, including exact search, username derivation, deep search, reverse image, and cache-aware lookup
  • Three-layer 12D orthogonal model that captures entity, social, and abstract dimensions
  • Cross-source de-duplication and contradiction resolution with explicit version retention
  • Per-field confidence scoring with direct, cross-verified, and inferred labels
  • Legal guardrails at every step, including public-only collection and needs-authorization tagging
  • Gap detection and zero-result reporting so missing dimensions stay visible
  • Local-only storage plus optional sensitive-field redaction for safer delivery
  • Openclaw Skills-ready modular decomposition using D1-D7 and a condition-branch plus full-safeguard control pattern
