What is Rectify?

Rectify is an all-in-one SaaS operations platform designed for bug reporting, session replays, and AI agent management. By leveraging Openclaw Skills, users can access the AgentPulse layer to programmatically control task boards and documentation. This integration provides a seamless bridge between AI agents and project management workflows.

The skill enables full CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) capabilities for the AgentPulse task board and Rectify Documents. It is specifically built to handle complex coordination between human team members and AI agents, ensuring that roadmaps, changelogs, and technical tasks are always in sync with the latest project developments.

Rectify Use Cases

  • Automating the creation and assignment of bug reports from session replays.
  • Synchronizing Kanban boards during AI-driven development sprints.
  • Programmatically generating and updating project documentation in markdown.
  • Managing sub-pages and hierarchical document structures for team knowledge bases.
  • Moving tasks through different lifecycle stages based on automated triggers.

How Rectify Works

  1. The skill authenticates with the Rectify API using a RECTIFY_PROJECT_TOKEN stored in the local environment.
  2. When a task action is triggered, it first lists available columns to ensure valid targeting within the Kanban board.
  3. For assignments, the skill fetches project member IDs to map tasks to specific users or AI agents.
  4. Document actions use a specialized document-invoke endpoint to handle markdown content without interfering with page titles.
  5. The skill processes JSON responses from api.rectify.so to confirm successful updates or handle errors like unauthorized access.

Rectify Setup

To get started with this integration, you need to configure your project token from the Rectify dashboard.

# Set your project token in your environment variables
export RECTIFY_PROJECT_TOKEN="your_rectify_project_token"

# Test the connection by listing your project columns
curl -s "https://api.rectify.so/v1/agent-pulse/ai-tools/invoke" \
  -H "x-api-token: $RECTIFY_PROJECT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"tool": "list_columns", "args": {}}'

Rectify Data Schema & Taxonomy

The skill organizes data into two primary structures: Tasks and Documents. Below is the metadata taxonomy used within Openclaw Skills:

Entity Key Fields Description
Tasks taskId, title, priority, columnId Core task data including status and urgency.
Documents documentId, content, isPublished Markdown-based content with publishing status.
Members id, name, email, role User information for task assignment.
Columns columnId, name, color Kanban board organization segments.

Rectify Advanced Features

  • Recursive document archiving for managing large documentation trees.
  • Multi-agent support through the assignedAgent field for complex Openclaw Skills workflows.
  • Global search functionality across all tasks and documents using specific query parameters.
  • Real-time board context summaries providing an overview of all columns and active tasks.
  • Soft-delete and restoration capabilities for documents to prevent accidental data loss.
