What is Seithar Intel?

Seithar Intel is a comprehensive security analyst extension for your agent, specifically designed to enhance your collection of Openclaw Skills. It acts as a continuous monitoring station for cybersecurity news, vulnerability disclosures, and influence operation reports, ensuring you stay ahead of the curve in both technical and cognitive security domains.

By leveraging the power of LLMs for real-time scoring and analysis, the skill transforms raw RSS data into actionable intelligence. It filters out the noise by calibrating every feed item against your specific technical interests and skill level, providing a curated experience that ranges from morning briefings to high-fidelity deep dives into emerging threats.

Seithar Intel Use Cases

  • Automating daily morning and evening security briefings delivered via chat.
  • Receiving immediate alerts for critical 0-day vulnerabilities and active exploitation campaigns.
  • Conducting technical deep dives on CVEs, including searching for public PoC code on GitHub.
  • Mapping influence operations and disinformation campaigns to the DISARM framework.
  • Tracking personal learning progress in cybersecurity through automated study recommendations based on trending threats.

How Seithar Intel Works

  1. The skill utilizes the agent's heartbeat system to periodically fetch data from a Tiered list of security RSS sources.
  2. New entries are deduplicated against a persistent memory of previously seen URL hashes.
  3. Each item is analyzed and assigned a relevance score from 0.0 to 1.0 based on the operator's configured interest profile.
  4. Items are categorized into specific buckets such as Exploit Drops, Malware Analysis, or Influence Operations.
  5. Depending on the score and schedule, the agent pushes critical alerts immediately or compiles them into a structured intelligence briefing.
  6. On-demand deep dives are triggered by user queries, involving full article scraping, NVD API lookups, and repository searches.

Seithar Intel Setup

To add this capability to your Openclaw Skills, run the following command in your terminal:

clawhub install seithar-intel

For manual installation, clone the repository and move it to your local skills directory:

git clone https://github.com/Mirai8888/seithar-intel
cp -r seithar-intel ~/clawd/skills/

Once installed, initialize your profile by describing your security interests and current study focus to the agent.

Seithar Intel Data Schema & Taxonomy

Seithar Intel organizes its intelligence data and state within a structured JSON object in persistent memory:

Key Description
profile Contains user interests, skill level, and deprioritized topics.
feeds Manages RSS source URLs, custom feeds, and check intervals.
seen_items Maintains a hash list of processed items to prevent duplication.
stats Tracks total items processed and top sources by relevance.
study_log Records completed deep dives and maps progress to ATT&CK or DISARM techniques.

Seithar Intel Advanced Features

  • Proactive Convergence Detection: Flags when multiple sources report on the same threat within a short window.
  • Multi-Framework Mapping: Automatically maps threats to MITRE ATT&CK, DISARM, and Seithar Cognitive Defense Taxonomy (SCT).
  • Automated PoC Discovery: Queries the GitHub API to find and rank public exploit code for newly disclosed vulnerabilities.
  • Cognitive Security Tiering: Specialized monitoring of disinformation and psyops through sources like EUvsDisinfo and Bellingcat.
  • Weekly Landscape Summaries: Generates a strategic overview every Sunday covering the week's most significant technical and cognitive events.
