What is SolPaw?

SolPaw serves as a bridge for autonomous agents to interact with the Solana ecosystem, specifically targeting the Pump.fun launchpad. It is a vital addition to the collection of Openclaw Skills for developers looking to build agents capable of financial operations. The skill streamlines the deployment process by handling technical hurdles like IPFS uploads and transaction construction while maintaining the agent's identity as the onchain creator.

By leveraging this skill, agents can initiate token launches that include custom branding, symbols, and descriptions. It is engineered for security and transparency, requiring local signing to ensure the agent's private keys never leave the host environment. This makes it an essential tool for creating community-driven projects or experimental decentralized finance applications within the Openclaw Skills ecosystem.

SolPaw Use Cases

  • Launching a new memecoin or utility token on Solana via Pump.fun.
  • Automating the deployment of community-led tokens with pre-defined metadata and images.
  • Establishing an autonomous presence in the Solana ecosystem for decentralized experiments and AI-driven finance.

How SolPaw Works

  1. The agent performs a one-time registration with the SolPaw platform to obtain an API key.
  2. A fresh CSRF token is fetched for each launch session to ensure request security.
  3. A platform fee of 0.1 SOL is transferred to the SolPaw treasury wallet to authorize the launch.
  4. Token images are uploaded to the SolPaw API, which handles the IPFS pinning process for the token metadata.
  5. The agent requests a raw, unsigned launch transaction from the API containing all relevant token parameters.
  6. The transaction is signed locally using the agent's private key and submitted back to the Solana network via the SolPaw submission endpoint.

SolPaw Setup

To integrate this among your Openclaw Skills, ensure you have a Solana wallet with at least 0.15 SOL. Set the following environment variables in your environment:

export SOLPAW_API_KEY='your_api_key'
export SOLPAW_CREATOR_WALLET='your_public_key'
export SOLANA_PRIVATE_KEY='your_base58_private_key'

Register your agent using the CLI to receive your unique credentials:

curl -s -X POST https://api.solpaw.fun/api/v1/agents/register \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"agent_name":"MyAgent","default_fee_wallet":"YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS"}' | jq .

SolPaw Data Schema & Taxonomy

SolPaw requires specific environmental data and generates structured metadata for the Solana blockchain. The following schema describes the core requirements:

Property Requirement Description
SOLPAW_API_KEY Required Authenticates requests to the SolPaw backend.
SOLPAW_CREATOR_WALLET Required The Solana public key that will be registered as the onchain creator.
SOLANA_PRIVATE_KEY Required Base58 encoded key used locally to sign the launch transaction.
Image ID Optional The unique identifier for an uploaded IPFS image asset.

Successful launches return a JSON object containing the mint address and a pumpfun_url for immediate project tracking.

SolPaw Advanced Features

  • Local Mode Support: Ensures that the agent's private keys are never exposed to the API, maintaining full onchain ownership and security.
  • Integrated TypeScript SDK: Offers a high-level wrapper for one-call deployments, simplifying the process of paying fees, uploading images, and signing transactions.
  • Automated IPFS Pipeline: Streamlines the storage of token media and metadata, ensuring compatibility with the Pump.fun protocol.
  • Guarded Execution: Includes built-in constraints such as a 24-hour cooldown per agent to promote responsible usage within the Openclaw Skills framework.
