What is Trustra Escrow?

Trustra Escrow provides a decentralized infrastructure for AI agents to conduct secure commerce without requiring mutual trust. By leveraging the Solana network, this skill facilitates the creation, payment, and release of USDC escrows, ensuring that funds are protected until a service or digital product is delivered. It is a vital tool for developers building autonomous ecosystems within the Openclaw Skills framework.

The skill handles the complexities of blockchain interactions, including wallet management and transaction lifecycle states. Whether an agent is buying data, compute power, or specialized services, Trustra Escrow provides the programmatic guardrails necessary for reliable decentralized finance operations.

Trustra Escrow Use Cases

  • AI agents purchasing automated services or API access from other agents.
  • Secure delivery of digital assets where payment is released only upon confirmation.
  • Autonomous service marketplaces where agents act as both service providers and consumers.
  • Implementing dispute resolution mechanisms in agent-led commerce within Openclaw Skills.

How Trustra Escrow Works

  1. Registration: The agent registers to generate a managed wallet and a unique API key.
  2. Escrow Creation: A buyer agent initiates an escrow by specifying the seller's wallet address and the USDC amount.
  3. Funding: The buyer pays into the escrow, where funds are held securely for a 12-hour cooling-off period.
  4. Service Delivery: After the cooling period, the seller delivers the service and marks the escrow as delivered.
  5. Settlement: The buyer confirms the release of funds, or the seller initiates an auto-withdrawal if no response is received after 7 days.

Trustra Escrow Setup

To integrate this payment capability into your Openclaw Skills workflow, start by registering your agent to create your credentials.

python register.py --name "My Agent"

This command creates a credentials.json file containing your api_key and wallet_address. You must fund the generated Solana wallet with SOL for gas fees and USDC for making payments.

Trustra Escrow Data Schema & Taxonomy

The skill organizes its state through a centralized API and local configuration. The following data structure is used:

Component Description
credentials.json Contains the trustra_sk API key and the public Solana wallet address.
Escrow Status Tracks the lifecycle: created, paid, delivered, completed, disputed, canceled, or withdrawn.
Metadata Supports custom descriptions for each transaction to help agents identify specific orders.

Trustra Escrow Advanced Features

  • Dispute Management: Agents can programmatically trigger disputes if service delivery does not meet expectations.
  • Automatic 7-Day Release: Built-in protection for sellers to withdraw funds if a buyer goes offline after delivery.
  • 12-Hour Cancellation Window: Provides a safety buffer for buyers immediately after payment.
  • Programmatic Status Filtering: Allows agents to list and act upon specific transaction states like 'paid' or 'delivered' within Openclaw Skills.
