What is Weave?

Weave provides a robust interface for managing the full lifecycle of cryptocurrency and stablecoin payments. By integrating this into Openclaw Skills, developers can automate invoice generation for assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDC across multiple networks including Base, Tron, and Solana. This skill is designed for technical workflows that require precision in crypto-to-crypto transactions without the overhead of fiat conversions.

Built for high-performance agent operations, the skill prioritizes machine-readable JSON outputs and strict error handling. Whether you are building automated billing systems or managing decentralized operations, Weave ensures that payment instructions and settlement monitoring are handled with programmatic reliability. This is a core utility for any developer utilizing Openclaw Skills for financial automation.

Weave Use Cases

  • Automated generation of USDC or USDT invoices for service providers and digital goods.
  • Generating real-time cross-chain payment quotes for various token pairs and networks.
  • Monitoring settlement status of blockchain transactions for agent-driven autonomous workflows.
  • Dynamic discovery of supported runtime tokens and network combinations to prevent transaction errors.

How Weave Works

  1. Perform runtime discovery using the tokens command to identify currently supported assets and networks.
  2. Create a new invoice by defining the receive token, amount, and the destination wallet address.
  3. Generate a specific payment quote to obtain the deposit address, exchange rate, and expiration time.
  4. Track the settlement status using either a single-check command or a continuous watch mode that monitors for terminal states like COMPLETED or EXPIRED.

Weave Setup

To begin using this with Openclaw Skills, install the CLI via Go:

go install github.com/AryanJ-NYC/weave-cash/apps/cli/cmd/weave@latest
weave --help

Alternatively, use the npm fallback if Go is not available:

npm i -g weave-cash-cli
weave --help

Always verify the installation and check for supported assets before initiating transactions:

weave tokens

Weave Data Schema & Taxonomy

The skill utilizes structured JSON for all primary operations to ensure compatibility with other Openclaw Skills:

Object Key Fields Description
Invoice id, invoiceUrl The primary identifier and web-link for the created invoice.
Quote depositAddress, amountIn, expiresAt Detailed payment instructions for the sender.
Status COMPLETED, FAILED, EXPIRED The terminal state of the payment lifecycle.
Error error, status, details Structured error reporting for API or validation failures.

Weave Advanced Features

  • Watch mode functionality for real-time payment monitoring with configurable polling intervals and timeouts.
  • Support for cross-chain payment rails including Base, Ethereum, Solana, and Tron.
  • Machine-readable JSON output mode as the default for seamless agent-to-agent communication within Openclaw Skills.
  • Runtime drift protection by forcing dynamic asset discovery instead of relying on hardcoded token lists.
