What is ShimmerPic?
ShimmerPic is an independent studio for OpenAI's GPT Image 2.5. It runs both models at the same credit price and shows them side by side on the same prompt: Flare, the fast default, and Sunburst, the precision model with longer generation times. You choose by speed or detail rather than guessing, and you never need an API key. Reference-photo editing is the core of it. Attach up to three reference images and the product, person or artwork you upload stays recognisable while the scene, the light and the framing are rebuilt around it. That covers product photography, on-model and UGC-style stills, posters where the headline has to render exactly as written, and mockups placed on real objects. Every generation shows its exact credit quote before you press the button, and failed generations are refunded to the same credit batch. Results stay private in your own gallery until you download or share them, and three content-safety checks run on input and output. How to use ShimmerPic?
1. Sign in with Google. New accounts start with 6 free credits. 2. Describe the image you want, or start from an example in the gallery and edit the wording. 3. Add up to three reference photos if the image depends on a real product or subject. Each reference is 10 MB and 4,096 px maximum. 4. Choose a model: Flare for speed while you explore, Sunburst for the version you keep. Both cost the same credits. 5. Choose an aspect ratio (1:1, 4:5, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9, 9:16), a resolution (1K, 2K, 4K) and Standard or High quality. The exact credit quote appears before you generate. 6. Generate. The result is saved privately to your creations, where you can download it or open it again as a reference for the next edit.
