Minimizing cognitive load is crucial when capturing information. Voice Inbox is designed to address this need.

Is it a note-taking app?

No, it simplifies note-taking on other apps (currently Obsidian). If Obsidian is a notebook, Voice Inbox is a magical pen that lets you write to it without opening the notebook.

We encourage you to own your data and use plain text. With that in mind, Obsidian is our current choice, but we’ll change if it goes against this. If you prefer a different option, please let us know so we can support it in future versions.

Privacy is our core value. We’ve made significant efforts to avoid collecting privacy data while providing a good experience. We don’t sell user data because we don’t have it. We respect your privacy and focus solely on our business, not yours. Your data is kept safe on your devices whenever possible. High-quality transcription and calendar event recognition are exceptions because they’re impossible to implement on-device with quality (until we have more powerful iPhones). Everything else happens on your device. We don’t collect and so don't have access to anything beyond app usage data and an email address.
