Overview

The challenge of turning rich, unstructured meeting data into polished, branded social media content is resource-intensive. This powerful n8n workflow solves this by providing end-to-end automation. It leverages the reliability of a Google Calendar n8n trigger coupled with the intelligence of LangChain AI agents to ensure that every key insight from your discussions is quickly transformed into a professional LinkedIn post. By utilizing the interactive Gmail n8n node, the system securely collects the raw transcript and user-defined preferences (tone, style). The output is structured, organized, and immediately saved in Google Docs via Google Drive n8n node operations, giving users an instant review and publish solution. This comprehensive n8n template significantly boosts content velocity.

How it Works

The automation begins with the Google Calendar n8n trigger, monitoring for new events starting. It immediately passes the data to a Filter n8n node, ensuring only specified meeting types (e.g., 'coaching' or 'key words') proceed. The flow then utilizes the Wait n8n node, pausing execution until the meeting's scheduled end time, ensuring non-disruption. Once complete, the Gmail n8n node (set to 'sendAndWait' with a custom form) prompts the user to reply with the raw meeting transcript, post type (Personal or Company), and desired tone. Based on the user's selected post type, the Switch n8n node routes the input to one of two specialized AI Agent n8n node generators (Personal or Company). Both generators are configured with Memory n8n nodes, which store essential brand guidelines and voice requirements for consistent output. The AI performs extraction and writing, enforced by a Structured Output Parser n8n node to guarantee valid JSON containing the post title and content. After successful generation, the workflow uses Google Drive and Google Docs n8n node operations to create a dedicated folder, archive the raw transcript, and save the final LinkedIn post draft. The process concludes with a final Gmail n8n node, sending the user direct review links to both Google Docs.

Installation Guide

To deploy this expert n8n workflow, follow these steps:

  1. Import: Copy the provided JSON data and paste it into your n8n instance via the 'Import from JSON' option.

  2. Credentials: This advanced n8n template requires OAuth2 credentials for:

Google Calendar (for the n8n trigger).
Gmail (for sending the interactive form and final results).
Google Drive / Docs (for content storage).
Your AI Provider (e.g., OpenAI or LLM accessible via LangChain nodes).

  1. Configure Calendar Trigger: In the 'New Event Started' n8n node, select the specific Google Calendar ID you wish to monitor.

  2. Configure Filtering: In the 'Filter Unwanted Event Type' n8n node, update the 'key words' expression to match the summary titles of your important meetings.

  3. Customize AI Agents: Crucially, update the Memory n8n nodes ('Simple Memory' and 'Simple Memory1') and the main prompts within the AI Agent n8n node generators to define your unique brand voice, style, and content guidelines ('X's voice').

  4. Test: Run the n8n workflow manually with a test meeting event to ensure all connections and routing work correctly before production use.

Node Details

This n8n workflow relies on a complex sequence of specialized n8n node types:

Google Calendar Trigger (New Event Started): The initial n8n trigger, set to fire specifically when an event starts, providing the input data for the n8n workflow.
Filter (Filter Unwanted Event Type): A core n8n node that uses conditional logic to proceed only if the meeting summary contains predefined keywords, filtering out noise.
Wait (Wait till Even End): A scheduling n8n node that dynamically calculates the delay based on the meeting's end time parameter, ensuring the transcript request is sent post-meeting.
Gmail (Need Transcript to be Provided): Used as an interactive form handler. This specialized n8n node waits for a reply containing mandatory form fields (Transcript, Post Type, Tone), effectively pausing the n8n workflow until user input is received.
Switch (Matching Post Type): A routing n8n node that directs the data based on the user's input ('Personal LinkedIn Post' or 'Company LinkedIn Post').
LangChain Agent (Personal/Company LinkedIn Generator): The core intelligence n8n node. It analyzes the provided transcript against extensive instructions stored in memory to craft a complete LinkedIn post.
LangChain Memory (Simple Memory/Simple Memory1): These n8n node components store long-term, custom instructions (brand voice, style guides) that the AI agents reference for consistent output.
LangChain Structured Output Parser: Ensures the AI's response adheres to a strict JSON schema, simplifying downstream processing by the n8n workflow.

  • Google Drive / Google Docs n8n node operations: Used for file management, creating dedicated folders, and archiving both the raw transcript and the final content draft.
