What is Lovense LAN Control?

Lovense LAN Control, delivered through Openclaw Skills, is a zero-dependency Python stdlib CLI for discovering and driving supported Lovense devices over the local network. In Game Mode, the script can trigger vibration, presets, custom patterns, raw device actions, and an immediate stop without cloud services, API keys, or an MCP server.

It is designed for developers and AI agents that need deterministic physical feedback in interactive experiences. The workflow is intentionally simple: connect to the current LAN IP/port, inspect the toy with gettoys, then issue bounded commands with conservative intensity and safety-first stop handling.

Lovense LAN Control Use Cases

  • User wants to vibrate, pattern, preset, or stop a Lovense toy from the shell
  • Building interactive scenes where an agent drives physical feedback in real time
  • Local-network automation that must avoid cloud dependencies and API keys
  • Discovering toy names, battery state, and supported capabilities before sending actions
  • Running multi-step control flows for supported devices such as Lush, Hush, Nora, Max, Solace, Gravity, and Mini Sex Machine
  • Immediate emergency stop handling during live sessions

How Lovense LAN Control Works

  1. Fetch the single lovense.py script from the source repository and make it executable.
  2. On the paired phone, open Lovense Remote, switch to Game Mode in the Discover tab, and read the current local IP/port.
  3. Make sure the phone and the controlling machine are on the same LAN; refresh the IP/port every session because it can change.
  4. Use gettoys to discover the toy list, battery level, and capability metadata (fullFunctionNames).
  5. Send a control command such as vibe, preset, pattern, action, or stop with the current IP/port.
  6. Prefer low starting intensity and bounded durations, then escalate gradually only if the user wants more.
  7. End every session with stop, and treat any stop request as the highest-priority action.

Lovense LAN Control Setup

  1. Download the script once:
curl -sL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/2b-jr26/lovense-cli/main/lovense.py -o lovense.py
chmod +x lovense.py
  1. On the paired phone, open Lovense Remote → Game Mode (Discover tab) and note the current local IP:port shown by the app.
  2. Ensure the phone and your machine are on the same LAN. Re-check the address each session because it can change.
  3. Run commands with Python 3:
python3 ./lovense.py <ip> <port> gettoys
python3 ./lovense.py <ip> <port> stop
  1. Once connected, issue effect commands like vibe, preset, pattern, or action using the fresh IP/port values.

Lovense LAN Control Data Schema & Taxonomy

Local artifacts

  • lovense.py: the single executable script fetched from the source repo.
  • No database, config file, cloud state, or API key file is created.

Runtime fields

Element Shape Purpose
ip string Local LAN address reported by Lovense Remote in Game Mode
port integer-like string Session-specific LAN port
command enum gettoys, vibe, preset, pattern, action, or stop
strength integer Intensity level; typically 1-20
seconds integer Duration in seconds; 0 means run until stopped
pattern semicolon-delimited string Strength sequence such as 20;15;10;5;1
action comma-delimited string Raw device tokens such as Vibrate:10,Thrusting:5

Discovery metadata

gettoys returns toy name, battery, and fullFunctionNames capability metadata, which is the primary taxonomy for supported effects.

Action capability map

Action Range Supported devices
Vibrate 0-20 All
Rotate 0-20 Nora
Pump 0-3 Max
Thrusting 0-20 Solace, Gravity, Mini Sex Machine
Fingering 0-20 Flexer
Suction 0-20 Tenera
Depth 0-3 Solace Pro

Lovense LAN Control Advanced Features

  • Zero-dependency Python stdlib implementation: one script, no package install.
  • LAN-only control with no cloud, API keys, or MCP server.
  • Capability discovery via gettoys surfaces battery and supported functions before you send effects.
  • Raw action commands can be comma-combined for layered scenes, such as Vibrate:10,Thrusting:5.
  • Safety-first control flow: stop is the highest-priority command, and bounded durations are preferred over infinite runs.
  • Built for agent-driven physical feedback scenes where the model must translate user intent into immediate device output.
  • Fits Openclaw Skills workflows that need deterministic local-network device control.
  • Supports multiple Lovense device families from the same command surface.
