What is AI Photo Editor?

AI Photo Editor is an Openclaw Skills integration for the Craftsman image_generator API, routed through the OneKey Gateway. It turns a simple design brief into AI-generated visual assets using configurable prompts, reference images, templates, styles, dimensions, and card counts.

The skill is designed for editable output rather than flat images alone: generated workspaces preserve headlines, content blocks, brand elements, images, backgrounds, and footer layers so users can revise text, colors, sizing, and layouts before exporting final assets. It supports photo editing workflows, AI posters, social media carousels, presentations, app-store graphics, and icon design.

AI Photo Editor Use Cases

  • Generate branded AI posters from a short natural-language prompt.
  • Build multi-page social media carousels for Instagram, X, Xiaohongshu, and other channels.
  • Create editable educational cards, product graphics, campaign visuals, and marketing assets.
  • Apply styles such as editorial grids, futuristic visuals, scientific themes, or deep monochromatic palettes.
  • Remove watermarks, enlarge or shrink images, and produce photo-editor outputs through the supported template.
  • Generate presentation pages, app-store thumbnails, icon assets, and print-oriented layouts.
  • Use uploaded reference images alongside prompt-driven image generation.
  • Prepare assets in square, portrait, vertical, or A-series page geometries.

How AI Photo Editor Works

  1. Authenticate with a registered OneKey Gateway access key stored in DEEPNLP_ONEKEY_ROUTER_ACCESS.
  2. Submit a design request to the craftsman-agent/craftsman-agent agent using the image_generator API.
  3. Provide the creative prompt, optional reference images, template ID, card count, asset dimensions, operating mode, and visual styles.
  4. Optionally define design_config with channel and audience profiles, constraints, brief inputs, typography, and page-template layers.
  5. The image generator resolves the requested geometry and creates the visual composition for each card or page.
  6. The service returns generated image URLs, a session ID, a shareable workspace URL, and structured layer metadata.
  7. Open the workspace to edit generated text, colors, fonts, sizes, and image placement.
  8. Export completed assets from the workspace as PNG, PDF, or PPT files.

AI Photo Editor Setup

Set the required OneKey Gateway credential before making API or CLI requests:

export DEEPNLP_ONEKEY_ROUTER_ACCESS=your_access_key

The key can be registered or managed through the DeepNLP workspace at https://deepnlp.org/workspace/keys. No Node.js or Python package dependencies are required by the skill itself.

For direct API usage, send a JSON request to the agent router:

curl -X POST "https://agent.deepnlp.org/agent_router" \\
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \\
  -H "X-OneKey: $DEEPNLP_ONEKEY_ROUTER_ACCESS" \\
  -d '{
    "unique_id": "craftsman-agent/craftsman-agent",
    "api_id": "image_generator",
    "data": {
      "prompt": "Create a futuristic AI poster",
      "images": [],
      "card_count": 1,
      "template_id": "photo-editor",
      "asset_size": [{"width": 1080, "height": 1350, "ratio": "4:5"}],
      "mode": "basic",
      "model": "default",
      "styles": ["Editorial grid layout with deep monochromatic tones"]
    }
  }'

For CLI workflows, use the OneKey agent command with a JSON payload:

npx onekey agent craftsman-agent/craftsman-agent image_generator '{"prompt":"Create a futuristic AI poster","images":[],"card_count":1,"template_id":"photo-editor","api_id":"image_generator","asset_size":[{"width":1080,"height":1350,"ratio":"4:5"}],"mode":"basic","model":"default"}'

The full design_config object can be added when precise typography, page layers, audience profiles, styles, and layout constraints are required.
