TickTape is an independent pre-flight layer for Polymarket that helps Openclaw Skills agents and traders validate risk before placing a trade or copying a wallet. It analyzes live order books and identity-tagged trade history to return deterministic verdicts: OK, CAUTION, VETO for orders and COPY, WATCH, VETO for wallets, always with numeric reasons.
It is designed as a guardrail, not a trading engine. TickTape does not predict prices, take custody, or execute orders. Instead, it helps you enforce slippage limits, estimate safe order size, screen copy-trading candidates, and avoid wallets that look popular but perform poorly for copiers.
preflight_trade to check slippage, depth, fee drag, and safe size.preflight_copy to see whether it is COPY, WATCH, or VETO.leaderboard and red_list to find wallets with strong copier ROI and avoid underperformers.sandbox=1 to validate exact field shapes without spending money.token_id when possible, or slug + outcome for a market; use a wallet=0x... address for copy checks.https://ticktape.cc, choosing sandbox, x402, or prepaid-credits auth depending on the environment.reasons[], numbers, and cache or retry metadata such as next_refresh_at or retry_after_seconds.safe_size_usd on CAUTION, or proceed only when the rules you set still pass. For Openclaw Skills deployments, start in sandbox, then add payment and spend caps before enabling live calls.

Most integrations cache raw responses externally by endpoint and parameter set until the API refreshes them.
